About This Competition
This is a in-house competition where we will focus on working hard within our own community of individuals. It is a co-ed, team event where you will sign up as an individual (RX or Scaled athlete) and be placed on a team the morning of the competition in a random drawing prior to the event's start. We will start the drawing at 0800 and the event will begin at 0900.
This is a fun test of fitness (there will be plenty of fitness) in a unique format where we may meet new people all the while doing it in the comfort of our Ardent gym family.
Questions on which division you belong to? Here are some guidelines. Note, if you choose RX or scaled and feel like you made a bad decision come the week prior, after all the events are announced, we can change your division. So, don't fret, you can change your mind.
RX:
Kettlebell Swings @ 70/55
DB Snatch/Thruster/Devils Press @ 50/35
DT (Deadlift, Hang Power Clean, Push Jerk) is done RX typically @ 155/105
Grace (Power Cleans) or Isabel (Power Snatch) is done RX @ 135/95
Double Unders
Chest to Bar, Toes to Bar
Generally, when RX weight is a 50/35 Dumbbell, you can proficiently use that DB
Scaled:
Kettlebell Swings @ 44/25
DB Snatch/Thruster/Devils Press @ 35/20
DT (Deadlift/Hang Power Clean, Push Jerk) can be done at 115/75
Grace (Power Cleans) or Isabel (Power Snatch) can be done at 95/65
Single Unders
Generally, you can proficiently move a 35/20 Dumbbell
