About This Competition

SANDCLASH KSA 2018

Shout out to the Fitness community in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia as we announce the launch of SANDCLASH Competition. You are invited to participate, showcase and represent your box / GYM in a challenging community event that is meant to gather the fitness enthusiasts and practitioners in the kingdom under one roof.

SandClash 2018 will be the first rundown/chapter of an iconic fitness event that will take place every year. As one big community.

 

”The Fittest in the Kingdom”
This will be a Two-full day event with 6+ workouts and
Participant athletes will compete on the title of “The Fittest in the Kingdom” with a cash prize of:

•15K for the First Winner
•10K for the Second Winner
•5K for the Third Winner

 

Top 60 Males and Top 30 Females from the qualifires will be invited to take part in this event and they will have 10 days to accept the invitation. If you fail to accept in these 10 day or reject your invitations the next person in line will recieve an invite to fill these spots.

 

Regestration Fee must be paid to confirm your spot and there. Once payment is done your spot will be confirmed and no refund will be provided for and registration.

The only piece of equipment that you will need is a skipping rope and your gear (Clothes, Knee sleeves, wrist wraps, etc..)

You will be asked to be present a day before (Thursday) to attaend the athlete briefing, check in and take your goody bag! as well as attend any other briefing scheduled in the event agenda that will be shared with the athlete by Email.

Specific times, heats and lanes etc... will be provided in the athlete pack that will be shared later on. Recommended hotels and transportation suggestions will alos be included in the athlete pack.

Every 45 seconds to hit Snatch, 15 seconds transition

 

Female’s weight (pounds): 55, 65, 75, 85, 95, 105, 115, 125, 135, 140

 

Athelets can attempt as many reps as possible in 45 seconds;

Athletes will be ranked by the weight of their heaviest successful Snatch and will only be able to move to the next barbell if they attempt and snatch the weight successfully. The tie breaker will be max repetitions of deadlifts at a specific weight in case the athlete fails and doesn’t want to attempt the weight again or if they decide not to attempt a snatch and just opt to do max deadlifts
