About This Competition

Welcome to our Non-Sanctioned Women's Powerlifting Meet - designed for women at all skill levels, ages, shapes, and sizes! 

Each Ladies of Power competition will encompass the (3) main lifts; Back Squat, Bench Press, and Deadlift. In this event, you get to test your skills in a welcoming environment without the hassle of joining an expensive weightlifting federation, drug testing, or quiet platforms. 

You can expect great energy, music, and your favorite hype crowd there to cheer you on!  

Equipment Allowed

Single-ply singlets are allowed, but not required. 
Neoprene knee sleeves, wrist wraps, weightlifting belts, and lifting shoes are allowed.
Athletes must wear long knee socks for the deadlift. 

Equipment NOT Allowed

Multi-ply singlets and squat shorts are not allowed. Athletes not wearing singlets must wear shorts that are no longer than mid-thigh and a T-shirt. Large or baggy clothing will not be allowed.
Knee wraps, elbow sleeves, and wrist straps. 

Mandatory Weigh-Ins

Weigh-ins will be held at 7:30am- 9am on the day of the event.

If athletes are under 18 years old, parents must be present and must sign a waiver.

This is a smaller, non-sanctioned meet so our weight classes are as follows:

> 125lbs
126lbs - 145lbs 
146lbs - 170lbs
171lbs - 195lbs
196lbs >

At weigh-ins, athletes must be prepared to give their rack heights and opening attempts for squat, bench, and deadlift in pounds.

Workouts

In this event, you will have (3) attempts to find your 1RM Back Squat. Your opening lift will be given at check-in on the day of the event and you cannot change this once check-in is complete. After completing your first attempt, please head over to the scoring table to announce your 2nd attempt and so on until all three attempts are completed. 

Only your highest, successful lift will be scored. For a successful attempt, you will need to obtain a minimum of 2 out of 3 white lights from the judges. 

In this event, you will have (3) attempts to find your 1RM Bench Press. Your opening lift will be given at check-in on the day of the event and you cannot change this once check-in is complete. After completing your first attempt, please head over to the scoring table to announce your 2nd attempt and so on until all three attempts are completed. 

Only your highest, successful lift will be scored. For a successful attempt, you will need to obtain a minimum of 2 out of 3 white lights from the judges.
