WOD FOR BABY T
About This Competition
This fundraiser is in support of Baby T who is fighting infantile fibrosarcoma.
His parents were part of the CrossFit community prior to becoming proud parents of their little boy - nicknamed 'Baby T'. He was born on the 27th of January 2022. In February 2022, at just three weeks old, Baby T was diagnosed with an extremely rare form of childhood cancer and started chemotherapy soon after. Baby T has faced everything with incredible strength and resilience. Unfortunately, his family just received news that the cancer isn’t responding to the chemotherapy and so more aggressive treatment options need to be pursued.
Baby T’s mother’s maternity leave is almost over so to help relieve some of the pressure we would love the CrossFit and wider fitness community to come together and help raise some much-needed funds for the family to allow them more time to spend with Baby T full time.
In true CrossFit form we will have a bit of friendly competition with all athletes appearing on a leaderboard. If you choose to enter your score/time you will be able to see how you rank with your fellow athletes. Please note this is about participation more than anything and we encourage you all to complete the WOD regardless of scoring. 100% of registration proceeds will be directly donated the family.
In support of Redkite, Australias leading childhood cancer support charity, we encourage everyone to wear Red. Send us videos, photos and tag us so we can show the family how many people they have behind them.
Wod for Baby T is kindly supported by Alphafit who are donating a 20kg bar to the affiliate/gym with the most registrations and a $50 voucher for the most spirited gym.
The workout will be released on the Butterfly Effect page and WOD for Baby T event page on FB on Thursday the 26th of May at 5pm AEST and you will have until Monday the 30th to complete and enter the WOD.
Further donations can be made via the gofundme link here:

Please share this with as many people as possible and lets bring some light to this family in a time of need.
