About This Competition
Spring Sling 2025 at CrossFit Wigan
The Spring Sling is an exciting CrossFit competition happening at CrossFit Wigan in 3rd and 4th of May 2025. This annual event brings together athletes of all levels, from beginners to seasoned competitors.

Date: Saturday 3rd of May for scaled and 4th of May for RX

Workouts: Expect a variety of workouts testing strength, endurance, skill, and teamwork. Events may include barbell lifts, gymnastics, cardio elements, and functional movements.

Movement standards - some but not all of these movements may appear

Barbell - RX open standards
Dumbbell 22.5/15kg
KB 24/16kg
All gymnastics - RX open standards

Workouts
3 Rounds for Time (Cap: 12:00)
• 400m Run
• 15 Synchro Thrusters
Here’s the twist:
Each athlete uses a different implement per round:
• Athlete 1: 45/30kg Barbell
• Athlete 2: 2x22.5/15kg Dumbbells
• Athlete 3: 2x24/16kg Kettlebells
Line up single file and rotate each round!
Scaled Option:
• Male: 40kg Barbell
• Female: 25kg Barbell
(Same implement for all rounds)

60 synchro toes to bar (2 people)
Row 500/450m - 150 double unders - 1000/900m C2
30 Power cleans 85/55kg
40 synchro toes to bar (2 people)
Row 500/450m - 150 double unders -1000/900m C2
20 Power cleans
20 synchro toes to bar(2 people)
Row 500/450 - 150 double unders -1000/900m C2
10 Power cleans
14:00- 20:00 - 6 minutes to find a 1rm clean.
