About This Competition

St Louis' least-legitimate fitness competition is back for the 14th time!
A short, high-intensity competition set in the heart of St. Louis' Soulard Mardi Gras celebration. The event includes 5-6 strength and fitness-based events typically around 5 minutes in duration.

**THIS IS A PRIVATE EVENT**

There is NO admittance into the facility without a ticket. This includes all athletes AND spectators. Spectator tickets are purchased under 'merchandise'.

TIME: The competition takes place from 8AM - 1PM with the party going on until 4PM-ish. As an athlete or spectator you can enjoy the Mardi Gras parade (between events) and indulge in some food and beer, which are included in your ticket price (and a warm restroom).

TEAMS: This is a partner competition. 3 divisions are available: Scaled, Intermediate and Rx. Recommendations are simple:

  • If you typically do NOT Rx your gym WOD, choose "Scaled".
  • If you mostly Rx the gym WOD (except when the weight is very heavy and high-skill) choose "Intermediate".
  • If you always Rx your gym WOD and sometimes choose the Rx+ option when available, choose Rx.

PRIZES: Traditionally a bag of onions or some sort of lamp is awarded to top performers. But, who knows what we'll find lying around this year...

LOGISTICS: Arrive early and plan on a walk of 3-4 blocks to get to the gym. Recommended parking is in the gym parking lot (if accessible). We are never 100% sure which streets will be closed down, but its usually pretty easy to navigate before 8AM.

We suggest approaching the gym from the south. If traveling by highway, take 55 to Arsenal. Parking will be available in the Gambit parking lot. You may also park in any of the following parking lots: Heritage, the Food Outlet or any of the side streets behind the gym (Shenandoah). There will be no street parking on 7th.

For locals, you're welcome to drop off bags or coolers at the gym on Friday. All bags and/or coolers should be stored in the locker area.
