About This Competition

The Ardent Holiday Brawl is an in-house competition between friends and peers that are a part of the Ardent Community.  Our goal is to encourage a fun and encouraging atmosphere while letting our athletes show off all of the hard work they put into the gym on a daily and weekly basis.

Scaled - Hanging Knee Raise, WB 14/10, Single Unders

*every time someone puts down the bar, 4 lateral burpees over the bar

Intermediate - 135/95
Scaled - 95/65


*This will be scored by the amount of "complexes" completed.  Once the bar starts in the deadlift, it cannot be set down or stopped on the floor until all 6 movements are finished by the starting individual. However, to avoid burpees, one individual could do multiple unbroken complexes without resting or stopping on the floor.  In other words, straight from the jerk into the set of 3 deadlifts without letting the bar rest, even for a split second, on the ground.

Between you and your partner, you have 10 minutes to accumulate as much weight as possible.  The total weight between the 2 is your score.

1000 Meter Row Erg

2000 Meter Bike Erg

One athlete will choose to row and one athlete will choose to Bike Erg.  You have between 8:00 and 1:00 to complete this additional floater workout.  The time between the 2 is your total time and score.  We will round to give an even minute:second time for scoring purposes.  In other words, if you row a 1:58.2 your score will be 1:58, and if you row a 1:58.6 your score will be 1:59.
