About This Competition

Welcome to 2023 Mile Zero Throwdown!


We are thrilled you want to attend our event. This will be a fun two-day CrossFit competition, on October 14 & 15, 2023. We have lots of fun in store for all divisions, including one off-site event, located within the city limits of Dawson Creek. Team registration prices include a free Swag gift for each athlete, that will be handed out at registration check-in. All divisions are teams of 2, with prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd in each division. Workouts will start to be released 2 weeks prior to the competition.

* Teams can Split work as needed. Only one athlete working at a time, except on Hay Bale Flip Overs, Both team members can work together if needed.

RX/INT/SCALED - Athletes have 10:00 to establish a 1RM Deadlift.

*Score will be max weight lifted between both team members.

*As long as the Barbell leaves the ground before the 10:00 buzzer, the lift counts.

Ascending reps to 10 then descending back down to 1. Example 1 snatch, 1 Burpee, 2 snatches, 2 burpees until 10,10, then descending back down to 1.

*1 athlete must complete one full round, example, 1 snatch, 1 burpee = 1 full round.

*One athlete working at a time. Split work as needed. Teams that choose to do Narrow stance squats will place lower than teams who did 10 pistols as prescribed.
