About This Competition

We are excited to launch the dates for our 2023 London Summer Festival - the functional fitness event of the year!

Ealing Trailfinders, in west London will again play host to our London Summer Festival over the weekend of 8/9th July 2023.

This years event is going to be bigger and better than previous years with more athletes, more competitions and more going on off the TURF with some exciting activations and 'villages' to visit.

We are also excited to welcome teams from ALL around the world.

The ENGINE event will also take place over the weekend with options of Individual or pairs to choose from. Click HERE for more details


TEAM COMPETITION

DIVISIONS

  1. EVERYDAY - male + female teams compete Saturday 8th July. Mixed teams compete Sunday 9th July
  2. INTERMEDIATE - male + female teams compete Saturday 8th July. Mixed teams compete Sunday 9th July
  3. ELITE - All teams will compete Saturday 8th July.

CATEGORIES

  1. FEMALE - 5 females per team
  2. MALE - 5 males per team
  3. MIXED - 6 athletes per team (3M / 3F)


FREE AGENT ENTRY

Is back! Don't have a team but want to take part in the 2023 Summer Festival? We got you. Like our Winter Festival, we will be offering Free Agent entry. You enter by yourself, and we will put you in a team prior to the event. There will be options for either Everyday teams or Intermediate teams.

  • When both sub teams have completed Block A of DIVIDE & CONQUER the Concept 2 bike will be unlocked.
  • In the remaining time teams will accumulate max cals on the C2 bike.

Teams will divide into sub teams of 2 and 3 athletes and stay in those sub teams for the entire workout.

  • Block A
  • 30 Synchro dumbbell deadlifts 1 x 20kg 2 x 17.5kg 2 x 15kg
  • 30 Box jumps overs 20"
  • 10 Sandbag to shoulder 40kg

Then,

  • Block B
  • 24 Synchro dumbbell thrusters 1 X 20kg 2 x 17.5kg 2 x 15kg
  • 24 Box jumps overs 20"
  • 10 Sandbag to shoulder 40kg

Then,

  • Block C

  • 40 Synchro Burpees to plate (3 athletes)
  • 200m rope Run (3 athletes) + 60m sandbag shuttle – (20kg)
  • 40 x 3 person worm STOH @ 75kg
  • Worm must then stay off the ground, into
  • 20 Sandbag over wall (20kg)

then part B,
