A new era in competitive functional fitness events
Beginning with our online qualifiers, you will test your fitness across a range of different domains and compete for a space at our live finals.
If your hard work in the qualifiers pays off, then it’s go time! Under the lights of Rainton Arena, to the sound of one of world’s best DJs, Zakk Wild; battle it out with your fellow teams to earn that all important spot on the podium. How good is your barbell cycling? Can you string doubles and singles together without tripping under the pressure of the competition floor? What about those all-important odd object movements? There will be events prepared to challenge every aspect of your fitness.
Anyone can enter, whether you’ve been training for years or just started your fitness journey, there’s a qualifier space waiting for you. With 7 different categories to choose from, there is something for everyone!

Submission Deadline (for all 3 Qualifiers) - Sunday 27th Nov 2022
PLEASE NOTE:
Pairs do not need to be from the same fitness facility, however, you will need a base to complete and video each qualifying workout together.
Live Finals
Saturday 4th February 2023 - Intermediate, Scaled, Teens
Sunday 5th February 2023 - RX, Masters 35-39, 40-44 & 45+
Categories and Movement Standards
For those of you that may be a little concerned about specific movement standards in each category, don't be. Our qualifiers and live final events will be very carefully constructed. Just because we have pull-ups as a movement standard for our scaled athletes, doesn't mean we will start a workout with 100 pull-ups and watch some of you fall at the first hurdle. We want you to have an amazing time at our competition, we want you to push yourselves really hard and we will make sure our programming reflects that

FAQ's
Q: Which category should I/we enter?
A: Take a look at our Categories & Movement Standards to determine this based on the parameters we have set out. There is no "one size fits all" so choose a best fit option for you. We are confident you will find a category that will be most suited to your current ability
Q: How many qualifiers will there be?
A: There are 3 qualifier workouts that will be released each week during the period of 7th-27th November. Each qualifier will have a specific submission deadline.
Q: What if I/we can't complete a movement in a qualifier/live final?
A: We will set all workouts to be challenging but not impossible. We have been very thorough with our categories with regards to expected movement standards. In the unlikely event you are unable to complete a movement, we would encourage you to complete the workout up to that point, as you may not be the only one, then give it your best shot
Q: What happens if my partner can no longer compete in the qualifiers/final?
A: Once you have signed up, changes can be made to your team prior to the qualifiers commencing, providing the substitute athlete is the same ability level (e.g. Scaled for Scaled, Intermediate for Intermediate etc.). All qualifiers will need to be completed by the same team; we are unable to allow a substitute athlete mid-way through the qualifiers. In the event you qualify for a finals space and your partner needs to withdraw from the competition, please get in touch. We will allow a substitute athlete, again, providing the athlete is of the same ability level (e.g. Scaled for Scaled, Intermediate for Intermediate etc.)
Q: What do I/we do if I have entered the wrong category?
A: If you have signed up for the wrong category by mistake or decided that your ability level would be too challenged in the category you have selected, we can arrange for your category to be changed no later than 24hrs prior to the submission date of the first qualifier. Please check our movement standards carefully before deciding on your category selection. I'm confident we can accommodate your ability level in one of our available categories
