About This Competition
March Mayhem, back where it belongs!
Date: Saturday 8th & Sunday 9th March 2025
Venue: Hall 2, NAEC Stoneleigh, Coventry, CV82LZ
This competition is for Same Sex Fours,Same Sex Pairs and Adaptive Individuals. All teams will compete over 1 day at the finals. Any teams that sign up after 24/01/25 will have missed the deadline for a team nameboard.
Direct Entry Same Sex Fours Divisions:
Saturday 8th March: Throwdown & Throwdown Masters
Sunday 9th March: Compete, Compete Masters & Fitness
Qualifier Entry Same Sex Pairs Divisions:
Saturday 8th March: Elite, Rx, Scaled
Sunday 9th March: Middle Ground
Direct Entry Adaptive Individuals:
Sunday 9th March: All Adaptive Divisions
Open age Compete Fours and Elite Pairs will be competing for a cash prize pool and all other teams of 4 that make it to the podium will receive a prize bag from a prize pot worth £1000s! Prize money values will be determined off sign up numbers.
All pairs divisions will enter the event via qualifiers, the qualifiers will be completed as an individual and then a total score will be taken from the addition of all team members scores added together. This is to allow people to team up with others who may train at other gyms, have different work schedules etc!
Qualifier workouts are completed to determine which teams of two make it through to the live finals, the qualifying numbers mentioned above are the number of pairs that will continue from the qualifiers to the finals in March.
Movement Standards
We ask that you enter the division that best describes the level the majority of your team are working at.
Fitness & Scaled:
Fitness is for scaled and beginner athletes only. Athletes will be new to the sport and will complete lower weighted and lower skilled workouts. Weights and movements that you could expect to see programmed in this division include:
Single Unders
Clean & Jerk @ 45/35KG
Snatch @ 40/25 KG
Deadlift @ 80/50 KG
1 x Dumbbell @ 22.5/15 KG
2 x Dumbbell @ 15/10 KG
Throwdown & Middle Ground:
The division for the intermediate athlete. Weights and movements that you could expect to see programmed in this division include:
Double Unders (or higher reps of single unders)
Pull Ups
Toes To Bar
Clean & Jerk @ 60/40 KG
Snatch @ 50/35 KG KG
Deadlift @ 100/70 KG
Overhead Squat @ 50/35KG KG
2 x Dumbbells @ 22.5/15 KG
In some instances athletes may be given the option to choose to perform a higher skilled movement in place of another.
Compete:
This division is for the more experienced Rx level athlete. Weights and movements you could expect to see programmed in this division include:
Double Unders
All Gymnastic Movements (For teams of 4, a minimum of 2 members need to be able to HSW, for pairs a minimum of 1 athlete needs to be able to HSW)
Clean & Jerk @ 85/60 KG
Snatch @ 60/40 KG
Deadlift @ 120/85 KG
Overhead Squat @ 60/40 KG
2 x Dumbbells @ 22.5/15 KG
Tickets are non refundable, ticket insurance can be bought seperately on checkout through an external company.
Those who opt for the instalment plan will need to make all three payments leading up to the competition, if an athlete needs to be replaced or the team can no longer make the event you will still have to make all instalment payments.
DSLR / Professional cameras are prohibited at the event, media will be produced by our in house media team. If you would like to enquire about purchasing a media pass to allow you to bring your camera in please contact info@graftevents.co.uk no later than 7th February 2025.
