About This Competition

Rad Fit Fest: 90s Throwback Strength and Fitness Weekend
Dates: Saturday 9/7 and Sunday 9/8

Location: CrossFit Eminence, 848 E 78th Avenue, Thornton, CO 80229

Registration Deadline: 9/1/2024

Welcome to Rad Fit Fest, the ultimate 90s-themed weekend for strength, fitness, and all things awesome! Whether you're into Olympic weightlifting, CrossFit, or just want to relive the glory days, we've got a packed lineup that combines athletic competition with a nostalgic twist. Here's what's in store:

Day 1: Olympic Weightlifting Competition
Dust off your flannel and snapbacks—Saturday kicks off with an Olympic Weightlifting Competition that takes you back to the golden age of grunge and cassette tapes. Athletes will compete in the classic lifts: the snatch and the clean and jerk. With three attempts at each lift, you'll have the chance to showcase your power and technique. Expect a 90s playlist, neon decorations, and the kind of crowd energy that’ll take you straight back to the era of the Walkman. This is an official USAW Sanctioned Meet, so be sure to enter your USAW membership number when registering.

Whether you're a seasoned lifter or just starting out, everyone is welcome to join in the fun. Soak in the nostalgia while setting new PRs and earning your spot on the podium.

Day 2: CrossFit Team Competition
On Sunday, grab your teammate, lace up your high-tops, and get ready to dominate the CrossFit Team Competition! This is a day of intense workouts designed for teams of two, where communication and teamwork are as important as brute strength. Throughout the day, you'll face multiple WODs (Workouts of the Day), incorporating a variety of classic CrossFit movements—which will also include the snatch and clean & jerk!

Bring your favorite 90s-inspired outfit, whether it's an oversized t-shirt, bright-colored windbreaker, or the classic track pants with snaps. The best-dressed teams might even earn a little extra something!

Registration Information
Athletes can register for the Olympic Weightlifting Competition alone, or both the CrossFit Team Competition and Olympic Weightlifting. The team scores of the Olympic weightlifting competition factors into your score on day 2!

When registering for the CrossFit Team Competition, don't forget to enter your teammate's name. This event is all about the power of partnership and the joy of working together.

Prizes and Awards
We're offering fantastic prizes for the top performers in each competition! Every participant will also receive a Rad Fit Fest t-shirt with a 90s twist and other cool swag.
