About This Competition

Participate in the foodspring Open to help others in need!

During these very uncertain times foodspring seeks to bring the community together.

Our main goal is to raise money for the following foundations: Action Against Hunger and the CrossFit®️ Foundation.

But of course, we also want you to have fun and stay motivated!

About the competition:

  • Free online competition, with a donation option during registration process
  • 3 workouts over the course of three weeks
  • Each workout will be published on Wednesday 6 pm European Summer Time
    • Q20.1: 15.04
    • Q20.2: 22.04
    • Q20.3: 29.04
  • Submission deadline for all workouts: 07.05.2020
  • NO EQUIPMENT REQUIRED
  • Top 3 athletes male/female will receive winners prices
  • AMONG ALL PARTICIPANTS there will be a give away of:
    • Eleiko squat rack + barbells and plates worth 5000 Euro
    • Concept2 rower
    • Virus online 500 Euro shop voucher

Donations can be made during the registration process but are of course not mandatory. Every donation can make a difference and is greatly appreciated!

50 jumping lunges

50 sit-ups

50 mountain climbers

Score is the time of the Workout

20.1 "INTERVAL2"

Set up a timer with 5x2 min intervals and 5x1 min rest in between.

In the 2 min intervals:

5 Handrelease Push Ups

10 Burpees

Max reps Jumping Squats

 

Score of this workout is the total amount of Squat Jumps

 

Flow of the workout. On the call 3-2-1 go the Ahtlete has 2 min time to perform 5 handrelease push ups and 10 burpees as a buy in. In the remaining time of the two min the Ahtlete performs as many squat jumps as possible. As soon as the 2 min time window is closed the athlete rests for 1 min. The Athlete will complete this procedure for a total amount of 5 rds (5x2 min interval with 5x1min rest in between.)
