Workouts
Crews will start seated in a fire truck, wearing bunker gear. On go, all four crew members get out of the truck and run to four prowler sleds which they will push 75' down and back to where they started. They will then climb a ladder onto the third floor balcony of the fire building. They will enter the building and encounter two dummies which they will have to remove from the building down three floors by way of the exterior stair case. Once the dummies are rescued, the crew will split into two. Two members will perform 15 reps each of a ceiling breach and pull while the other two members hit the Kaiser sled. The crew members will then switch so that all four members perform all tasks. Lastly, the crew will run to four 5" hoses laid out on the concrete. Each crew member will grab a hose and pull it backwards 100' and then grab the other end to move it forward 100' to the finish line.
Team of four will start at the starting line, wearing bullet proof vests. The team must run a 400m obstacle course consisting of monkey bars, a low crawl tunnel, tires, and cars to jump over. Once the 400m lap is finished the team will enter the fire building and be given four flashlights. The team must follow a course laid out through the fire building with Xs and arrows marked with tape on the walls and doors, all simulating a suspect chase. Once the team exits the building they will encounter four tires which they must flip six times before moving on, simulating a struggle with the suspect. The team will then run the 400m obstacle course lap again and their time will stop when one member handcuffs a suspect who is waiting for them at the finish line.
All four crew members will be dressed in bunker gear to start the event. On go, one crew member must pry open the steel training door, allowing all four members to pass through it. The crew will then grab the seven firefighting tools set at the bottom of the tower and move those tools to the top of the six story training tower and back down. Once down the crew will split into two. Two crew members will grab a 16' ladder and team carry it one lap around the designated course, while the other two members farmers carry two SCBA bottles around the same course. The crew will then move on to four tires and four sledge hammers. Each crew member must perform 10 sledge hammer swings onto the tire before moving on. Next, the crew will move to the fire hydrant where they will find three rolls of hose, a nozzle, and a hydrant wrench. The crew must connect the hose lines and extend their line towards a target. One member must then charge the line at the hydrant and to stop the clock they must spray the target with their charged line.
The team will start seated in a police vehicle wearing SWAT gear. On go, the team will run 50m to a designated area where they will each complete 15 synchronized burpees and 15 synchronized medicine ball over shoulder throws, all to increase adrenaline for the next portion of the event. The team will then run another 50m to a table set with four simunition guns and four targets. Each team member will have five shots in their weapon and they must hit their target at least once or a penalty will be assessed to their final time. Team will then run to a "yoke" with its crossbar set 5ft off the ground. There will be a large pile of sandbags weighing between 20 and 50# each that the team must move over the yoke crossbar before moving on. The team will then crawl through a tunnel and run to the location of the downed "officer" and two SWAT shields. The team will designate two members to drag the dummy and the other two will carry the shields as "cover," meaning the team will move in a huddled formation to drag the dummy to the finish line and stop the clock.
