About This Competition

When?

The QUALIFIERS for the FINALS are held from 23rd July 2021 until 8th August 2021 21:00 CEST.

 

The FINALS are held live on 28-29th August 2021 in Dvorska Bašta, Sremski Karlovci, Serbia.

 

Who?

Participation in FortFight 2021 is allowed for any ATHLETE prepared to test their fitness abilities.

 

ATHLETES under 18 must have explicit permission from their parents or guardians.

 

All ATHLETES must compete in the QUALIFIERS to advance to the FINALS.

 

How?

ATHLETES can participate in the following categories:

·       Elite (men and women)

·       Scaled (men and women)

·       Master 35+ (men and women) – turning 35 in 2021 and older

 

The number of ATHLETES advancing to the FINALS in each category is:

 

30 Elite Men

20 Elite Women

40 Scaled Men

30 Scaled Women

20 Master 35+ Men

10 Master 35+ Women

 

The number of ATHLETES in a certain category is susceptible to change depending on the number of ATHLETES registered for other categories.

 

How much?

Participation in THE EVENT is subject to payment of the registration fee. All payments are final. No refunds or transfers will be permitted, regardless of the reason.

 

Registration prices do not include costs from COMPETITION CORNER or currency conversion fees.

 

The ticket price per ATHLETE for the QUALIFIERS is 10 EUR. (ATHLETES advancing will have to pay 30 EUR in order to register for the FINALS)

 

Dates?

Registration for the QUALIFIERS closes Sunday 8th August 2021 at 21:00 CEST.

 

Workouts will be released Friday 23rd July 2021 at 21:00 CEST.

 

Scores must be submitted before Sunday 8th August 2021 at 21:00 CEST.

 

Repeating the workouts is permitted. All workouts can be done on different days.

 

ATHLETES are advised to perform all workouts with a judge.

 

ATHLETES aiming to qualify for the FINALS have to submit a video of their workouts by entering their scores in COMPETITION CORNER.

Workouts

With a 15-minute running clock complete 3 rounds for time:

9 burpee box jump overs

“GTA” begins immediately upon completing “CTB”, if there is time left till the time cap.

 

Time cap: 15 minutes

 

Workout Variations

Elite

Men – 50 kg and 75 cm box

Women – 35 kg and 60 cm box

Scaled

Men – 40 kg and 60 cm box

Women – 20 kg and 50 cm box

Master 35+

Men – 45 kg and 60 cm box

Women – 25 kg and 50 cm box

With a 7-minute running clock complete:

150 wall balls for time

In the remaining time complete as many reps as possible of alternating dumbbell snatches

 

Workout Variations

Elite

Men - 9 kg medball to 3,05 m target and 22.5 kg dumbbell

Women - 6 kg medball to 2,75 m target and 15 kg dumbbell

Scaled

Men - 6 kg medball to 3,05 m target and 15 kg dumbbell

Women - 4 kg medball to 2,75 m target and 10 kg dumbbell

Master 35+

Men - 9 kg medball to 3,05 m target and 22.5 kg dumbbell

Women - 4 kg medball to 2,75 m target and 10 kg dumbbell

Complete:

1 barbell movement for max load

 

Time cap: time remaining from 15 minutes after “CTB”
