The Coastline Throwdown
About This Competition
North West based fitness competition bringing local gyms together to throwdown in a series of fitness tests designed to test every level of athlete. Hosted at Coastline CrossFit Southport between 8:30am and 3pm. With a number of workouts across the 3 staples of functional movement; Weightlifting, Gymnastics and Monostructual Cardio all blended together to test true fitness.
Through the day there will be food and drink onsite to purchase keeping you fueled for the workouts from The Wareing Brothers with coffee, fitaids, overnight oats and various lunch options to choose from plus some not so health treats.
The competition will be spread across 2 days - Saturday the Scaled athletes take to the floor and Sunday we host the Rx athletes throwdown. Standard for both are as follows.
Scaled Standards
42.5/35kg Barbell Cycling
Single Unders
15/10kg DB Movements
Pull Ups (1 member of the team)
Rx Standards
60/42.5kg Barbell Cycling
Double Unders
22.5/15kg DB Movements
Muscle Ups (Male) C2B (Female) (1 member of the team)
Athletes need to bring any kit used for normal functional fitness training eg. grips, straps, ropes, shoes for running and lifting.

Every 2:00 for 12:00 Athletes move between stations, 1 athlete per station.
