About This Competition
EVENT OVERVIEW
Price? £60pp
Who? We are inviting mixed teams of six (3 male & 3 female athletes) to take to the stage in our elite and open categories.
Where? Renowned as the ‘Sporting Glastonbury’, Bournemouth 7s has created a formidable reputation amongst sportspeople and festivalgoers alike, and this year, the award-winning festival will welcome NFG to the party.
Located in the picturesque Dorset countryside, Bournemouth 7s attracts over 30,000 attendees and 400 sports teams every year from all over the world – if you would like the chance to take to the NFG event stage in front of this ready-made audience, then this is the competition for you!
COMPETITION FORMAT
Our NFG competition will be a mixed team competition – teams to be comprised of 3 male and 3 female athletes.
Our NFG event takes place on Saturday 28th August only with an exclusive training session on Sunday 29th August which is open to all teams (but not compulsory). You will be sent your Bournemouth 7s weekend ticket which is required for festival entry pre-event by the organisers.

Complete as many reps as possible as a team in each part of the workout. Teams must split into male/female pairs. Two of the pairs will work during each part of the workout (with each pair taking one part of the workout off).

Ground to Overhead 1 Rep Max (1 x male & 1 x female bar per team)
Each competitor will have ONLY ONE lift attempt during each 2-minute block at a weight of their choice (weights can be different for each team member).
Block 1: 0-2 mins – 1 rep @ chosen weight for each competitor
Block 2: 2-4 mins – 1 rep @ chosen weight for each competitor
Block 3: 4-6 mins – 1 rep @ chosen weight for each competitor
Block 4: 6-8 mins – 1 rep @ chosen weight for each competitor
Block 5: 8-10 mins – 1 rep @ chosen weight for each competitor
Each competitors heaviest successful lift will be recorded as their score for this section of the workout. Every team member will record a score
10-18 MINS
Build to a 1 Rep Max Deadlift (1 x male & 1 x female bar per team)
Every team member will record a score.
SCORE = TOTAL OF HEAVIEST LIFTS BY ALL TEAM MEMBERS
