About This Competition

The Milo Melee is a one day Functional Fitness style competition with a Firefighter twist. There will be four workouts: Grace Goes For a Run, Heavy Sled , Figher Fighter Gone Bad, MAX Monkey Bars

Divisions include; Masters, Scaled, Rx, Rx+, Teams and Individuals.

Teams can include up to 2 men, and must include at least 2 women. Three and four women teams will compete agaisnt ALL the teams in their division.

Registration runs from 2-1-25 to 3-28-24, If you want a T-shirt you MUST register by 3-18-25.

No refunds will be available after 3-18-25. 

Registered athletes may substitute another division appropriate athlete up to 0700 am on the day of the event.

Further details including site map, vendors, Heat Times, etc.. will be emailed to all registered athletes.

All non-Milo athletes will have access to Milo on weekend Open Gym time to practice with Monkey Bars and Keg Runs. Participating athletes must contact Alan at 520-370-2439 to schedule practice time.

The 100 meter runs are just for fun!

3 team members accumulate reps during 90 sec, rotate as desired. Each member must accumulate at least 1 rep. The fourth Team Member runs with the keg, each member runs once, reps for the next movement can NOT start until the next 90 sec round starts AND the runner is back in the Team Box with the Keg.

Score #1

The last round you completed getting back to your bar before the time cap.

Score #2

1 min MAX C&J completed the Round after Score #1. If you make it to the last round and make it back to your bar within 30 sec, you will have 1 min to accumulate reps for score #2.

Every round 2 team members will perform the synchronized C&J’s,  and 2 Team Members will do the run. Pairs will switch movements every round. Score #2 one person works at a time to accumulate C&J’s

Score #1   The last round teams get back to their box before the time cap.

Score #2    1 min MAX C&J completed the minute after Score #1

Rx 95 / 135   *   Rx+ 115 / 155    *   M / Scaled 65 / 95

You will have up to 3 attempts to go over and back as many times as possible.

All attempts must be made consecutively.

Both hands must be on the first and last bars with control.

At least one hand has to hold every bar, no skipping bars.

Must always move in one direction, you can’t go back and forth on the same 2 bars.

Non Milo members are welcome to come practice between registering and the event during Open Gym on Saturday and Sunday.

You will have up to 3 attempts to go over and back as many times as possible. Score is you best attempt.

All attempts must be made consecutively; you can not space them out during the day.

Both hands must be on the first and last bars with control.

At least one hand has to hold every bar, no skipping bars.

Must always move in one direction, you can only change the direction your going if you make it to the last bar and then go back.

Teams will have all four members scores added together.

Individuals

Every 50’ you MUST add weight. You cannot remove any weight.
