Boombox Brawl
About This Competition
The 2nd annual Boombox Brawl is a unique 3-person team competition where each team must be one gender, all RX or all Scaled, but any age may be on the team. Teens can be mixed with adults and/or masters (45+) and we will adjust for scoring. We will have a variety of challenges that will test all of your strengths and weaknesses! It will be a fun, relaxed atmosphere. Registration comes with a goodie bag and T-shirt.
There will be no refunds, but you may transfer a registration. We cannot guarantee that we can change the shirt size.
There will be 3 workouts and 1 floater. The 3 workouts will all be released by the first week of October. The floater will be announced the day of the event.
First place in each division will receive a cash prize.

Scaled: 205/145, 14/10, 35/25
Master Scaled: 135/95, 14/10, 30/20
Teen Scaled: 135/95, 14/10, 25/15
*Each member must complete 2 rounds of the workout, but rounds will be alternated in the format: 1, 2, 3, 1, 2, 3
*DB must remain overhead for the lunge. 6 must be done on each arm.
10 min time cap
Each member of the team must complete one of the following 3-rep max lift:
3 cleans
2 cleans + 1 jerk
1 clean + 2 jerks
*Cleans must be touch and go. No reset is allowed. Cleans may be power or squat.
*Jerks may be any type of jerk as long as control is demonstrated.
*As many attempts as needed are allowed within the time cap.
*As long as the bar is already moving when the 10 minutes is up, the lift may be completed.
*Only 1 athlete may attempt each lift. Total is the 3 weights added together.
*Youth weight will be 1.5 times the weight lifted for both RX and scaled.
*Masters will be counted as is.

2 scores: one is the number of reps in the AMRAP, the other is the number of calories rowed
*Youth members who row will get a 10 calories lead off
*Any member may complete any part of the AMRAP.
*Open standards for all movements will be required
*Members may change on the rower at any time. AMRAP does not need to stop if members switch on the rower
*Weights are as follows:
RX: 125/85
Masters RX: 115/75
Scaled (and masters scaled): 95/65
Youth RX: 75/55
Scaled Youth: 45/35
