About This Competition

Welcome to The North East Fitness Games! The DOGFIGhT!!!

The North East Fitness Games is back again! Here at NEFG we strive to make the best competition for athletes, by athletes. We have plenty of experience competing and we are now taking everything we know and love from these competitions and putting them under one roof. Bringing huge names from within the sport like DJ Zakk Wild!. All whilst teaming up with DoG Compete Programming to bring a fun, unique but a competitive set of events. Believe me you do not want to miss out on THE DOGFIGHT!!!

Format: M/F pairs
AMRAP 10 minutes (As Many Rounds As Possible)

  • P1 & P2 (Pair 1 and Pair 2):

    • Max Calories Assault Bike

    • Max Calories Ski Erg

  • P3 & P4 (Pair 3 and Pair 4):

    • 6 Synchronized Double Dumbbell Hang Snatches (2x22.5kg / 15kg)

    • 6 Synchronised Double Dumbbell Box Carry Overs

    • 6 Synchronised Double Dumbbell Devil’s Press

  • Switch roles when P3 & P4 finish their round.

  • Score: Total Bike Calories + Ski Calories + Reps performed by P3 & P4.

CAL CONQUEST - Intermediate

Format: M/F pairs
AMRAP 10 minutes

  • P1 & P2:

    • Max Calories Assault Bike

    • Max Calories Ski Erg

  • P3 & P4:

    • 4 Synchronized Double Dumbbell Hang Snatches (or Hang Clean & Jerks allowed, 2x22.5kg / 15kg)

    • 4 Synchronised Double Dumbbell Box Carry Overs

    • 4 Synchronised Double Dumbbell Devil’s Press

  • Switch roles when P3 & P4 finish their round.

  • Score: Total Bike Calories + Ski Calories + Reps performed by P3 & P4.

CAL CONQUEST – Scaled

Format: M/F pairs
AMRAP 10 minutes

  • P1 & P2:

    • Max Calories Assault Bike

    • Max Calories Ski Erg

  • P3 & P4:

    • 4 Synchronised Alternating Dumbbell Hang Snatches (1x22.5kg / 15kg)

    • 4 Synchronised Double Dumbbell Box Carry Overs

    • 4 Synchronized Alternating Dumbbell Devil’s Press

  • Switch roles when P3 & P4 finish their round.

  • Score: Total Bike Calories + Ski Calories + Reps performed by P3 & P4.

CLean Sweep

Duration: 12 minutes

Workout Structure:

  • Max Clean Complex

    • 1 Clean

    • 1 Hang Clean

    • 1 Clean

Timing:

  • 0-1 minute: M1 (Male 1)

  • 1-2 minutes: F1 (Female 1)

  • 2-3 minutes: M2 (Male 2)

  • 3-4 minutes: F2 (Female 2)

Repeat for 3 rounds.

Couples Classics – Rx

Workout Format:

  • Team Fran & Diane

  • For Time – 14-minute time cap

  • Split into M/M and F/F pairs

Workout Details:

  • Male pair completes Fran

  • Female pair completes Fran

  • Male pair completes Diane

  • Female pair completes Diane

Reps: Teams can share the reps as they wish.

    • Thrusters (42.5kg / 30kg)

Diane

    • Deadlifts (100kg / 70kg)

    • Handstand Push-ups (HSPU)

    • Weight: 60kg / 45kg

Couples Classics – Intermediate

Workout Format:

  • Team Fran & Diane

  • For Time – 14-minute time cap

  • Split into M/M and F/F pairs

Workout Details:

  • Male pair completes Fran

  • Female pair completes Fran

  • Female pair completes Diane

    • Weight: 50kg / 35kg

Couples Classics - Scaled

  • For Time – 14-minute time cap

  • Split into M/M and F/F pairs

  • 50 Worm Squats

  • 50 Toes-to-Bar (TTB)

  • 20 Synchronised Burpees Over Worm (Sync with any 2)

  • 40 Worm Push Press

  • 40 Chest-to-Bar (CTB)

  • 20 Synchronised Burpees Over Worm (Sync with any 2)

  • 30 Worm Hang Cleans

  • 30 Bar Muscle Ups

  • 20 Synchronised Burpees Over Worm (Sync with any 2)

  • 100ft Handstand Walk (HSW)

Notes:
