About This Competition

RUSH HOUR 1 

On the 18th March 2023, we will be hosting the first of the Rush Hours events.

 

Why is this CrossFit Compeition different?

If you dont have the time to commit to a full days competition then this is for you.

 

Rush Hour 1

This competition has RXD and Scaled Catergories. 

Male / Male RXD

Female / Female RXD

Male / Female RXD

Male / Male Scaled

Female / Female Scaled

 

How it works

You will book your ticket and then we will be in touch to confirm your time preferred time slot.

60min Time slots are bookable from 9am til 3:30pm via email or message

You are expected to at the venue 30mins or more before your competing time slot to warm up and meet your judge.

After your 60 mins competing you can hang out and enjoy the atmosphere or leave and just keep an eye on the leaderboard to see your position and then WINNERS will be posted on the social media pages and then collect their prizes from the gym or we can post out to you directly.

WOD 1 : ASCENDING SNATCH

For Time  with a 12 Min Time cap

2 DB Snatch at each weight , for each athlete

WOD 2 : SQUAT RACK


Find a 2RM Front Squat or Back Squat - 12 mins timecap 


Athletes must choose their squat for total load. One athlete will choose front squat and the other athlete back squat

 

WOD 3 : FRIED RINGS

A test of forearms and core skill and endurance


4 Rounds For Time / Time cap 10 mins


Accumulate a 90 Secs Synchro Bar Hang and then

32 Toes 2 Rings  / Hanging Ring Knee Raises 


Accumulate a 60 Secs Synchro Bar Hang and then

24 Toes 2 Rings  / Hanging Ring Knee Raises 


Accumulate a 45 Secs Synchro Bar Hang and then

16 Toes 2 Rings  / Hanging Ring Knee Raises 


Accumulate a 20 Secs Synchro Bar Hang and then

10 Toes 2 Rings  / Hanging Ring Knee Raises 

 

 

WOD 4 : CLEAN BALLS OF FIRE


Athletes have 14 mins - to complete this workout  for 2 scores 

Part a : for time

Part b : for erg bike meters 


Both parts start together


Part a 

Athlete 1 completes 

8 Wall Balls

8 Hang Cleans (40/30kg) / (30/25kg)

Athlete 2 Begins the erg bike meters


Then


Switch the athletes after round 1 of part a is completed.  This is a YGIG per round workout


The rep scheme is

Round 1 - 8, 8,200m     Athlete 1

Round 2 - 16,16,200m  Athlete 2

Round 3- 24,24,200m   Athlete 1

Round 4- 32,32,200m   Athlete 2

Round 5 -40,40, 200m  Athlete 1


Any time remaining - Max Erg Bike Meter
