Workouts
3 Attempts to log your longest freestanding handstand hold. Team score is combined time.
This will be a Saturday floater workout. individual athletes will have 5min from the time they kick up to complete the 3 attempts.
AMRAP 10min
-20 Toes to bar
-15 Goblet squat
-10 Overhead KB swings
Teams may choose how they attack this workout but once an athlete begins a movement they must finish it before subbing out.
RX & Masters: w-53lb, m-70lb
Scaled: w-35lb, m-53lb
*Overhead KB swing must be bottom up and directly over the head, in line with the head, shoulders, hips, and feet.
*Scaled may choose 40 hanging knee raises. Or as RXd with 20 TTB. Once an athlete begins a set they must stick with that movement through the set.
AMRAP 12min
*Begin with 2 rounds each of:
-40 Double unders
-20 Dumbbell bench press
-10yd Seated sled pull
*After both partners have completed their 2 rounds, teams may complete as many DB bench press as possible in the remaining time, Performing 20 double unders every time partners switch. Partners must switch any time DBs are sat down, athlete sits up or DBs are rested in any position other than the support position.
RUN! Distance will be announced June 1st.
Teams will have 60 seconds at each barbell to successfully complete up to 3 thrusters each. This is a points ladder and each successful rep counts as 1 point. There is a total of 6 team points available at each barbell. Consecutive reps must be performed "unbroken" in order to earn 2 or 3 points. At the final barbell, the last athlete to lift, if the team completes all 6 reps, they may begin performing lateral burpees over bar to accumulate additional reps. Every burpee adds 0.5 points to team total.
