Original Culprit have teamed up with @precision.events to introduce The Original Culprit Throwdown!


This is a ladies fitness event in teams of 3 to empower and promote the women of the Middle East’s community to get involved in competing. 


All the information you need is on the post but if you have any questions please reach out! 


Please note this is a ladies competition however there will be males present as judges and vendors ect. 


We have a lot of vendors and exciting prizes in store as well.

APRES SKI

For time:


20-18-16-14-12-10-8-6-4-2

Ski Calories 

Synchro Over Head Lunges 10& 15kg plate


Flow: on go, athlete 1 will start on the ski erg to perform the 20 cals. At any point you can sub in another athlete to complete the 20 calories. Then the 20 calories are completed 2 athletes will perform 20 synchronized overhead plate lunges. When the final rep is completed the resting athlete can start on the descending reps of 18 calories, again splitting up however you like, onto the 18 synchro over head lunges. This pattern continues until 2 and 2 rep are completed. When completed the 3 athletes must sprint to the finish line.


Please note: the plates will be different weights and you can choose who uses which.

EMOM format for 9 mins


One athlete working and two athletes resting for 3 rounds


7 calories assault bike into max effort KB squats


Athletes can choose their weight, from 8kg, 12kg, 16kg and 20kg


Score will be calculated per round by reps x weight


For example, if athlete 1 completes 12 reps on 16kg then their score for that round will be 12x16 = 192

THE WODGALS

7 min window AFAP:

Part A

30-20-10

DB hang snatch - 2 synchro 1 rest , switch however

15-10-5

Burpee over the DB - All synchro 10, 15, 15kg


Part B

On min 8:

50 devil press for time 15kg


Flow:

On go, 2 athletes will perform the first set of 30 synchronized alternating DB hang snatch. You will both be facing the same direction. You may sub in at any point as long as one athlete has the 15kg and the other has 10kg DB. After 30 reps, you will all perform 15 burpee over the DB, again, facing in the same direction. This will continue in this flow for 20 and 10 reps and 10 and 5 reps. Part A is for time. The quicker you complete the workout, the more rest time you will have. 


When the clock hits minute 7, you will have a designated 1 minute rest time. On minute 8 you will start the 50 devil press for time, using the 15kg dumbbell. You will split the reps however you like. 


Scoring: Part A & B will be scored separately but both for time. Part A being your split time.

THE WODGALS

WHO RUN THE WORLD (girls)

10 min AMRAP

P1 3 sandbag over the shoulder 50lb sandbag

P2 6 box jump overs 20” 

P3 9 plate ground to overhead 15kg plate

Synchro down up shuttle run 


All synchro ascending down up shuttle runs. Eg. 1 round of 3, 6, 9 + 1 burpee shuttle run into 3, 6, 9 + 2 burpee shuttle runs etc. 1 rep - down up shuttle run = 1 run + down up and back to line.


Flow: on go, each person in the team will take an exercise each and perform in order:

Person 1, 3 sandbag over shoulder. Person 2, 6 box jump overs. Person 3, 9 plate ground to over head.

When the third member has completed the 9 GTOH you will all run 7.5m to the line, perform a synchro down up facing the line and run back. When you cross the line you are not required to do another down up. As a team you can decide the order of the team mates for the next round of 3, 6, 9.


The second round you will complete 3, 6, 9 and then 2 down up shuttle runs and so on, adding 1 shuttle run each round until the cap. This will continue for 10 minutes as many rounds of possible.


Scoring: this will be split into 2 scores. 

Score 1 = Tie break to round 5.

Score 2 = reps completed after round 5.


One shuttle run (to the line and back) is 1 rep
