About This Competition
🚨 Battle of the Boxes: Welcome to the M1 Cup 🚨
CrossFit Minerva vs. CrossFit New Beginning. One day. One trophy. One gym takes home the bragging rights.
The M1 Cup is a head-to-head showdown between **CrossFit Minerva** (Central Coast) **CrossFit New Beginning** (Castle Hill) & **Crossfit Moose** (Edgeworth) This is more than just a pairs competition—every workout earns points for your gym, and at the end of the day, one gym will claim the 🏆 M1 Cup.
💪 Who can compete?
This is an all-inclusive competition, open to all levels, with workouts programmed in an Open-style format—progressing in skill and loading throughout. There will be Rx and Scaled versions available, and you can choose on the day. However, all teams will compete in the same division, with adjusted calorie counts, gymnastics reps, and barbell loads to keep it fair for all combinations.
4 Workouts across the day
For example:
🔥 Male-Male Pairs: 20-cal row, 20 chest-to-bar, 10 thrusters (50/35kg)
🔥 Female-Female Pairs: 15-cal row, 15 chest-to-bar, 10 thrusters (50/35kg)
🔥 Male-Female Pairs: 18-cal row, 17 chest-to-bar, 10 thrusters (50/35kg)
🏆 What’s at stake?
- The M1 Cup Trophy for the winning gym
- Podium prizes for the top pairs
- Bragging rights until next year
