About This Competition

Congrats!

You have earned a spot to particpate at the 2022 Beast Mode Games Elite division. This is only for 20 athletes that finished in the top 20 standings at our past 6 throwdowns. 

The competition will be a 2 day event, which is May 6th at 6pm at Mean Green Gym- North Location and May 7th at 8am at Humble Civic Center. Both locations are located in North Houston. Below we will list the address for both locations.

For you to be considered one of the top 20, you will have to particate in both the elite individuals division and the team of 2 division. With the Beast Mode Games, we do not release the workout until the day before the event. Make sure you work on all areas of fitness. You will have 5-7 workouts in 2 days (including team of 2 workouts) so make sure you are prepared mentally and physcially. 

The workouts in the team of 2 are based upon strength endurance. The elite division will test you within stength, conditioning and power. We will test you to get max weight on either a powerflifting or Olympic lifting movement. (We will not have overhead squats or muscle ups)

You will have until April 17th to register. If you do not, we will offer your spot to the next person in the rankings. Since you are doing the elite dividion, you will reveive 30% off your team of 2 registration. You must register for both elite individuals and team of 2. There's no refund. If you want to transfer your spot, you can give it to someone that particpated in the BMG Throwdown. 

With the team of 2 you can particate in any division and with any teammate. (Even if there doing the BMG Elite Divison) Your score in the team of 2 does not effect your score. Unless, you finish in a tie. The tie breaker will be your finishing standing in the team of 2. If you tie with your teammate of 2, you wil have a face off workout. We will not finish in a tie. If your team does standard and the other team does competitive, the competitive team automatcally wins. 

We're super excited to see you compete. The winner of the elite division will receive a paid month of their gym fee. (Group fitness membership under $250) If your a gym owner, we can gift you the funding for a service so you can give to a member. Of course you will receive a beast bag which is filled with exclusive gifts from our sponsors. 

May 6th and 7th will be here before you know it. Make sure you tell your family and friends to come out and support. We will see you soon.

Workouts

3 Rep Dealift

With is movement, we want to test your strength with 3 unbroken deadlift reps. You must control the weight up and down to complete a rep. These no rest on the ground. These 3 reps will be touch and goes. We will take your heaviest 3 rep weight for your final score. You will have 600 lbs, with a 45 lb barbell. You have 12 Mins. Good luck!

3 Rep Thruster

With is movemnt, we want to test your strength with 3 unbroken thruster reps. You must get below parallel on your squats and lock out your arms on your press. You cannot let the bar hit the ground between reps. We will take your heavest 3 rep weight for your final score. You will have 300 lbs, with a 45 lb barbell. You have 12 Mins. Good luck!

Gut Check

EMOM 2 for 10 Mins

- Get as power cleans as possible
- Every round starts with 5 burpee facing bar


Must start with 5 burpee facing the bar every 3-2-1 of the 2 min EMOM.

Alright, we're taking it to the field. We will be challenging your conditioning with a plate sled push and slam ball run.
