Inferno Throwdown is a Team Competition (M/M or F/F) to benefit the Rockville Volunteer Fire Department! Teams of 2 will compete in 1 of 3 Divisions - Elite (Rx+), Veteran (Rx), or Probie (Scaled).

Divisions -
- Elite - breakthrough or high-level, experienced athletes with profiency in most or all CrossFit skills (e.g. - Double Unders, Muscle-ups, HSPU, HSW) and barbell movements
- Veteran - fit, experienced athletes with working knowledge and ability to perform many or most CrossFit skills and barbell movements
- Probie - journeymen athletes who do it for the love of the sport and/or beginner athletes - basic knowledge of and experience with CrossFit style workouts. Optional scaling for the exclusion of barbell movements (substitution with dumbbell or kettlebell)

Refund policy -
- No refunds unless event is cancelled, then 100% of the listed entry fee will be returned
Substitution policy -
- Substitutions will be allowed, up to end of Last Chance Registration end date. However, fees will not be refunded or returned and billed to new athlete. This must be handled by athletes. Withdrawling athlete must provide written statement via email, prior to end of Last Chance Registration period
FAQs -
- How do the donations work?
- 100% of spectator fee will go directly to the Rockville VFD
- Roughly 50% of the net Team Entry fee will be donated to the Rockville VFD
- What if my Teammate bails before the competition?
- Substitutions are granted at any point before the closure of the Last Chance Registration period
- How good at CrossFit should I be to join the competition?
- Anyone with a basic fitness background and understanding of what a CrossFit workout is typically like is encouraged to join our "Probie" division. It's great for beginners, seniors, and even has a no-barbell version.
- Also, if you consider yourself pretty good and in need of a challenge, our Veteran division is the way to go!
- Otherwise, if you know you can hang, sign up for the Elite division and get ready to show off!
- When will you post the workouts?
- 1 event per week, starting on 7/19/21. See the workout release dates above for more details.

- See the prize package for more details. Also, be on the lookout for vendor prizes added during the registration period.
