About This Competition
We would like to welcome you to the 2nd edition of RARE GAMES. We’re honored to have such great support from some of the biggest companies in the kingdom and help us raise awareness to the youth.
The goal is to bring together a huge community of athletes from all fitness levels and from countries all over the world to compete, gather and celebrate well-being and fitness together.
This year the event will be held from 25-26 August 2023 both Marassi Beach & Exhibition World Bahrain, Zallaq.
We promise to deliver a one-of-a-kind event that will strive to bring the Fitness community together to celebrate health, good habits and sport.

Athlete's starts with Ski 1000M - Row 1000M - Ski 750M - Row 750M - Ski 500M - Row 500M
Athlete's can split the machine as they wish,
Athlete's switch to the next machine after completing exact meters.

Workout Instruction:
Part 1: Athlete 1:
Starts paddle board for 200m (arms only). After completing 200m, Athlete 2 begins part 2.
Part 2: Athlete 2:
Once Athlete 1 completes 200m paddle board, Athlete 2 will begin with 200m paddle board (arms only) and then perform 50 kettlebell swings. Once part 2 is finished, Athlete 1 begins part 3.
Part 3: Athlete 1:
Starts part 3 of paddle board for 200m (arms only).
Workout is complete once Athlete 1 finishes part 3.
Please note:
Athletes bodies must be on the paddle board facing down at all times while using arms only to complete the exercise.
There may be no kneeling or standing on the paddle board whatsoever. If so, athlete will be no repped and asked to redo the exercise from the beginning.

Workout instruction:
Athlete 1:
Will start and complete part 1 with clean and jerks at 135lbs then perform L-sit rope climbs in that exact sequence for all of the repetitions.
Exp:
9 c&j + 2 L-sit rope climb
7 c&j + 2 L-sit rope climb
5 c&j + 2 L-sit rope climb
Athlete must perform the clean starting from the ground, and jerk with arms fully locked over head. Rep will not count If the arms are not locked over the head.
Athlete must perform L-Sit rope climb seated on the ground and legless. Hand must tap the top of the rig to count as a rep. If athlete fails to do so it will not be counted as a rep.
Athlete 2:
Will start and complete part 2 with a snatch at 135lbs then perform L-sit rope climbs in that exact sequence for all of the repetitions.
Exp:
9 snatch+ 2 L-sit rope climb
7 snatch + 2 L-sit rope climb
5 snatch + 2 L-sit rope climb
Athlete must perform the snatch starting from the ground, with arms fully locked over head. Rep will not count If the arms are not locked over the head.
Athlete must perform L-Sit rope climb seated on the ground and legless. Hand must tap the top of the rig to count as a rep. If athlete fails to do so it will not be counted as a rep.
Workout is complete once Athlete 2 is finished with part 2.

Workout instructions:
Athlete 1 must perform a 1 rep max of Thrusters.
When performing the thrusters - the hip crease must pass below the knees, a squat clean into thruster is not allowed and will be considered a no rep. The barbell must come to full lockout overhead with the hips, knees and arms fully extended and the bar directly over the heels.
Athlete 2 must perform a 1 rep max of Overhead Squats.
When performing the Overhead squats - Athlete must clean the bar, get it behind the neck to perform a jerk or jerk directly from front rack, then perform the overhead squat. The hip crease must pass below the knees and arms fully locked overhead, the rep is complete once the barbell comes to full lockout overhead with the hips, knees and arms fully extended at the top position.
Each athlete has 3 minutes to establish rep max

Workout instruction:
Athlete 1 must perform a 2 rep max (unbroken) of Thrusters.
When performing the thrusters - the hip crease must pass below the knees, a squat clean into thruster is not allowed and will be considered a no rep. The barbell must come to full lockout overhead with the hips, knees and arms fully extended and the bar directly over the heels.
Athlete 2 must perform a 2 rep max (unbroken) of Overhead Squats.
When performing the Overhead squats - Athlete must clean the bar, get it behind the neck to perform a jerk or jerk directly from front rack, then perform the overhead squat. The hip crease must pass below the knees and arms fully locked overhead, the rep is complete once the barbell comes to full lockout overhead with the hips, knees and arms fully extended at the top position.

Split anyhow as a team except for HSW. Each athlete must complete 100ft (total of 200ft per interval).
Team may rest if the interval is completed before 5 minutes.

Athlete 1 must complete the first part, then switch to Athlete 2 to begin & complete the second part.

Time Cap: 12 Minutes
Workout instruction:
Sync Bar Mu/ Ring Mu, Both Athletes must be fully extended (arms locked) at the top of the ring and bar at the same time to be considered a rep.
Sync Shuttle run: Each rep starts with both feet clearly behind the starting line. At each turnaround, both feet and one hand must touch the ground over the line before moving on to finish the next rep. Stepping on or not touching the line will count as a no rep (for both athletes)
DB Snatch, when starting the snatch, both heads of the dumbbell must touch the floor and move its way up with arm fully locked. If the athlete hits the floor with one DB head, or does not fully extend at the top position of the exercise, it will be considered a no rep. Alternate between reps and split anyhow between partners.
