Atlas Games Community Qualifier
About This Competition
Looking to compete this summer in Montreal and share the floor with the best athletes in North America?
Well, here is your path to the 2022 Atlas Games for Community teams. From June 10th through 12th, join us for your chance to experience the prestigious CrossFit® competition floor in Canada.
Community Teams
Atlas Games is inviting a total of 60 teams, comprised of 4 participants (two Men and two Women), to compete in Montreal this summer. To participate, you must qualify during the Atlas Community Qualifier held from February 24th 3PM EST to March 14th 3PM EST.
YES! These are the exact same dates as the OPEN. YES! you will be performing the OPEN workouts!
This, however, is not directly affiliated with the Open. You must register for the Atlas Community Qualifier via Competition Corner to be eligible to participate in the Atlas Games. The Atlas Project team will be using the same workouts, standards and schedule as the OPEN.
Age Groups
Athletes in the Age Group divisions will most likely perform all workouts in the OPEN as prescribed without scaling or modifications. However, you can still can complete the qualifier and submit a scaled score in order to live the experience of online competition
Here is how to make it to Montreal:
1 - Register and compete in the Atlas Community Qualifier
Create your team of 4 athletes; 2 men + 2 women
Chose the division you wish to participate in. Community RX: Members of your team must complete all the OPEN workouts with the RX version.
Your team must include 1 substitute man and 1 substitute woman. These 2 substitute athletes cannot be used for the online qualifier. They will be the only substitutes accepted should your team qualify for the main event and you need a replacement team member.
Community Scaled: Each week, each members of the team must complete the scaled version of the OPEN workout. Remember that this division is meant to offer a once in a lifetime experience to newcomers to the sport.
As a guide, if you plan on competing in this division, this would be your first or possibly second live competition.

2 - Qualify for the 2022 Atlas Games
A total of 60 teams will be invited to register for the Atlas Community Games. 40 teams of the RX division and 20 teams of the scaled division will have the opportunity to compete in Montreal.
Every athlete competing in the RX division will be required to submit a video for each workout and in accordance with the CrossFit® OPEN video instructions. The videos must be submitted at the same time the final score for the week is submitted.
Scaled teams are not required to submit videos of their performances. However, any team is liable to be disqualified without prior notice, should the if Atlas Project organisation become aware of anything that could be considered as cheating.
3 - Register for the 2022 Atlas games
Team registration will be held on Competition Corner from April 18th through April 25th. See below registration process for both RX and Scaled divisions:

Qualified teams only can register via a link for Competition Corner.
April 21st 7pm EST to April 24rd 6:59 pm EST:
If not all teams register, we will open any vacant spots for the next team in line. We will automatically move to the next team in line every time a team declines a spot.
April 24th 7am EST to April 25th 7pm EST:
Registration will be open to all.
4 - Compete at the 2022 Atlas Games
Atlas Games will be held at the Complexe Sportif Claude Robillard in Montreal. Every athlete must register during the day on Thursday June 9th 2022 (NO EXCEPTIONS)
The competition starts on Friday June 10th for all divisions and athletes.

Workouts
WORKOUT 22.1
Complete as many rounds as possible in 15 minutes of:
3 wall walks
12 dumbbell snatches 15 box jump-overs
♀ 35-lb dumbbell, 20-in box
♂ 50-lb dumbbell, 24-in box
This workout begins with the athlete standing behind the 55/60-inch line and facing the wall. After the call of “3, 2, 1... go,” the athlete will step over the line, turn around, and perform 3 wall walks followed by 12 dumbbell snatches, alternating arms after each repetition. Once the dumbbell snatches are complete, the athlete will then perform 15 box jump-overs. Upon completion of the box jump-overs,
the athlete will return to the wall walks for the next round.
The athlete’s score will be the total number of repetitions completed before the 15-minute time cap.
There is no tiebreak for this workout.
