About This Competition
Get ready for some competitive fun in the sunny Hawkes Bay, Evo 2s is a functional fitness competition where MIXED pairs will compete in 4 divisions - Scaled, Intermediate, Masters and RX. You will be tasked to complete 4 Workouts to find the fittest MIXED Pair of the day!
Teams will consist of:
1 Male and 1 Female
$160per Team + CC Costs
NO REFUNDS - Teams can be transferred

EVENT 1

12 Sync Abmat Sit Ups

INT 15/10s SCALED 15/10
On 3, 2, 1 GO!
Both Athletes will start on a Ski Erg each and complete their allocated cals
Once the Cals are completed
Both athletes will start and complete the Synchro ABMAT Sit Ups (synchronised)
Once the Sit Ups are completed
Both athletes will start and complete the Synchro Double Dumbbell Hang Snatch
They will continue this for 5 rounds
Scaled will switch to a single DB Hang Snatch
Score:
The score will be the time taken to finish, or left over reps will be added to the time cap

Athlete 1 will start 30 Snatches at the required weight, once they have reached 30 then, Athlete 2 will start 30 Clean & Jerks at the required weight.
Athletes will be no repped if the bar is dropped from above the waist
There is only 1 bar to be used and only the athletes can change the weights.
Athletes to have their weights organised before they start.
Score:
The score is the time both have completed.

Part A
1 Athlete or Athlete 1 will start and complete 1 Full Bronco (no switching in and out)
FULL BRONCO 1.2k Shuttle Run (20, 40, 60m) 5 Times
Once the full Bronco is completed
Part B
Both Athletes will start and complete a broken Bronco
BROKEN BRONCO 1.2k Shuttle run (20, 40, 60m) 5 times each 1:1
Athlete 2 will start and complete 20, 40, 60m Shuttle run, then
Athlete 1 will start complete 20, 40, 60m Shuttle run, this will continue 1:1 until
Both Athletes have completed 5 each.
Score:
Part A: For Time (Tie Break)
Part B: The score will be time taken to finish or reps added to the time cap
