Yas Ladies Halloween Throwdown 2024
About This Competition
It is that time of year again for the Yas Ladies Halloween Throwdown!
This is a pairs competition open to all members of Vogue Fitness.
The competition will consist of 3 main workouts for all participating teams and a final workout for the top 4 teams at the end of the events.
Teams are encouraged to come in fancy dress to add to the spookiness!
Prizes will be awarded for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place, along with a prize for best costume!
We can't wait to see you there!

Workouts
3 Minutes Work / 1 Minute Rest x3
10 Sandbags Cleans @ 30kg
12 Synchro Line-Facing Burpees
Max Cal Bike
Athletes will start at the back wall. On 3,2,1.. GO! The athletes will run to the sandbag and complete 10 sandbag cleans. This can be split however between the athletes. Once completed, they need to perform 12 synchro bar line-facing burpees. Once completed, they will move to the bike where they will achieve max calories in the remaining time.
When the buzzer sounds, the athletes will return to the back wall where they will start again at the next 3-minute window.
Score is the number of calories completed over the 3 rounds.

24 Jumping Pull-ups / 16 Pull-ups
50 Wallballs
20 Synchro DB Hang Clean & Jerk @ 30lb
24 Hanging Knee Raises / 16 Toes-to-Bar
50 Wallballs
20 Synchro DB Hang Clean & Jerk @ 30lb
20 Inchworm Push Ups / 10 Wallwalks
The athletes will start at the opposite end of the floor. On 3,2,1..GO! athletes will run to their wallball station and complete 50 wallballs, split however. They will then move to the DB where they will complete 20 Synchro DB Hang C&J before advancing the DB forward to the next square. Once they have completed 20, they must return to the pull-up bar to complete 24 Jumping pull-ups or 16 Kipping pull-ups. Once completed, they will then return to complete another 50 wallballs, another 20 DB hang C&J, before advancing the DB forward again. They will then return to the pull-up bar to complete 24 hanging knee raises / 16 Toes-to-bar. Athletes will then complete their final round of the wallballs and DB C&Js before completing 20 inchworm push ups or 10 wallwalks before running to the finish line.
Athlete 1 will go then Athlete 2 will go.

b) Synchro 50ft KB Front Rack Walking Lunge @ 2x12kg
8 Minute Cap
Athlete 1: 4 Minutes to hit a max 'Power clean + Front squats + Jerk'
Athlete 2: 4 Minutes to hit a max 'Clean + Hang Clean'
