Workouts

Teams must visit the floater sign up sheet and schedule their opportunity throughout the competition day, no later than 1pm to complete their Floater workout.

When the judge assigned counts down 3,2,1 go, the team of 3 can begin movement on the Ski Erg accumulating as many calories as possible in the 6 minute time window. Ski Calories are worth 2 points each, and are the tiebreaker on this event.

ONLY while ski is in motion, athletes 2 & 3 can accumulate as many sandbag cleans over the shoulder as possible.  There are three bag weights (2 of each weight) to choose from at any time, each accumulating different point amounts. the 50# bag is worth 1 point, 100# bag worth 3 points, and the 150# bag worth 6 points.

Score is total points accumulated by cleans + calories accumulated on the Ski Erg for one total team score.

Tie break is total calories accumulated on the Ski Erg.

On the count of 3,2,1, go, teams of 3 will run with a length of connected rope for 800 meters of a loop down to the River Loop Trail and back.  Upon completion of the run, the athletes will clean and front rack 3 barbells simultaneously.

Athlete 1, holding weight 1, will complete 12 Front Squats while Athletes 2 & 3 will be holding weights 2 & 3 respectively.  If at any point one of the barbells is lowered from the front rack position or full extension of knees hips and back are not achieved, all bars must be set on the ground and the team must complete 4 synchro bar over burpees each before returning the barbells to the front rack and resuming the front squats.  Athlete 2 will complete 9 Front Squats at weight 2, and Athlete 3 will complete 6 front Squats at weight 3.

Once all front squat reps have been completed, all barbells can be set down.

The team must then complete 15 synchro bar over burpees before finishing out with the 1000m row. If a rep is done out of sync, teams can start a new rep from whichever side of the bar they happen to be on, as long as it is uniform across the team. The synchronization standard is all must be down on the ground at the same time, and then cross over the bar at the same time. Athletes can switch on the row at any point but do not have to do so.

Time cap is 13 minutes.

Tie breaker is the clock time shown when the final front squat rep has been counted as good.

Weights:

Rx: (M-155,185,225    W-85,115,135)

Scaled: (M-115,135,155     W-75,95,115)

On the countdown of 3,2,1, go, athletes will run across their lane and begin to accumulate calories on the Rogue Echo Bike and total jumps with the Elite SRS Muay Thai Jump Rope (1.5lbs.).

Two athletes may work at the same time while one athlete must rest, and athletes may switch off at any point within the time duration.

Score for this event, 2.1, is total points.  Echo bike calories accumulated showing on the screen at the exact moment of expiration as noted by the judge of the 5 minute time domain are worth 1 point each.  The total of accumulated successful jumps with the rope divided by 5 are worth 1 point each.  The number will be rounded up to the nearest whole number to establish a combined score. Both Rx and Scaled divisions will accumulate single unders.

Scoring points weight: Calories= 1 Point,  Successful 5 Single Under Jumps= 1 Point

At the conclusion of workout 2.1, each member of the team has, within the 7 minute time cap, the opportunity to establish their heaviest successful repetition of ground to overhead with a barbell.

Each male team will be provided a 45 pound barbell, identical plates for loading and 1 set of collars to complete their lifts.

Rogue 45's(4), 25's(4), 15's(4), 10's(2).  Rogue Change Plates 10 (2), 5 (2), 2.5 (2).

Each female team will be provided a 35 pound barbell, identical plates for loading and 1 set of collars to complete their lifts.

Rogue 45's(2), 25's(4), 15's(4), 10's(2).  Rogue Change Plates 10 (2), 5 (2), 2.5 (2).

Lifts must be completed within the team's designated lane and collars must be on the outside of all weight and secured for the rep to count. Clean & Jerk, Snatch, Cluster, and all variations are allowed.  Lifter must be given the "good" indication by the judge audibly before releasing the weight for the rep to be counted.

On the count of 3,2,1, go, athlete 1 will leave the "bullpen area" and run down their lane, over their barbell, to the wall to complete 3 wall walks.  Once complete, the athlete will move to their barbell and complete 5 Thrusters at the designated weight for their division (see below).  Athletes may begin the set of thrusters by doing repetition 1 as a cluster from the ground (aka squat clean into thruster).  Barbell must stay in designated lane at all times.  Finally, the athlete will move back to the rig and complete 7 chest-to-bar pullups or chin-over-bar pullups, depending upon division.

The wall walk standard for the Rx will be both simultaneous hand touching the tape line 10" from the wall.  For the scaled, the tape line will be at 22" from the wall, and the same two hand simultaneous touch will apply.  Chest and thighs on the ground with hands outside the shoulders is the start and finish to each successful repetiton, with both feet in contact with the wall at the base of the wall.

The round is complete after the completion of the final pullup, and the athlete must run back to the bullpen by travelling OVER their barbell and physically tagging a hand with their next teammate, who then must travel the same path to begin round 2.

Each athlete may only complete 1 round at a time and then must tag in a teammate.  If an athlete chooses not to complete a full round, which they can opt for, they can run off the floor over the barbell and can tag in their teammate who can pick up where they left off, but only after completing 3 bar facing burpee penalty for their teammate. The tagged teammate can then complete that round and the next round to which they would have been entitled to complete. In order to begin the round they are entitled to, the athlete must return to the start line and touch that line with either foot or hand and then can begin.

Athletes must stay in tagging order and in contact with order lines at all times during the workout as declared to the lane judge prior to the workout.

Minimum work requirement for every round for each athlete is one successful wall walk.

Time cap is 12 minutes.

Score is total rounds + repetitions completed at the time cap.

There is no tie breaker for this workout.
