About This Competition

This competition is a celebration of our Masters athletes!

A Masters-Age only Individual competition hosted by Shark Bite Fitness and Nutrition.

Rx/Scaled Divisions for Men and for Women


Team Combined Age Brackets:
Mid Life Crisis (ages 70-90)
Senile (ages 91+)

Individual Age Brackets
Mid Life Crisis (ages 35-49)
Senile (ages 50+)

All athletes must be 35 years of age by December 31, 2024.


REGISTRATION IS OPEN
Early bird pricing will end February 29 at midnight.

Feet must make contact with hands or rings each rep during toes to ring
Kettlebell swing: ball must clearly pass top of head, but does NOT need to be locked out overhead
For shorter people: A plate will be provided to reach the rings if needed!

Start with 2 cleans, then 2 sandbags over box, then 2 burpees to ring. Then 4 of each, then 6 of each continuing up until the 8 min AMRAP ends.

 


Sandbag must make contact with top of box, cannot be tossed over
Hand must visibly make contact with ring on each rep
Power clean, squat clean, split clean are all allowed, as long as followed by a full stand up
For teams: switch as often as you want, AT the start line, with a tag.
For shorter people: A plate will be provided to reach the rings if needed!

Both partners will start at the bike, one partner bikes while the other thrusters, no programmed rest during this workout.

Individuals: you can start at whichever movement you want, and THAT will be the movement you do 4 times instead of 3 times.

 


Score is total calories plus total thrusters at the end of the workout.
Tagout must occur in between minutes to switch out
DB must be placed inside of square before moving on, or last 10 reps will not count
DB Thrusters must be completed facing TOWARDS the bike

DBs: 20#/15#
