Eclipse Throwdown
Be a part of our first individual online competition. With two categories (RX, and beginner/intermediate) there's accessability for athletes of many levels to throw down.
For those of you entering the CrossFit Open, this will be a great test of fitness prior to the Open. For those of you that aren't, it'll be a fun and challenging 3 weeks of workouts to test your own personal fitness!
Entries are £10 per person and are non-refundable.
Beginner/intermediate category:
You generally scale weights and/or gymnastics movements you may typically see in CrossFit Open workouts. You are able to perform snatches/clean and jerks (DB/KB/barbell).
Athlete's in theis category may choose beginner or intermediate versions of each workout. Beginner and intermediate scores will be on one leaderboard.
RX category:
You can perform all RX movements including muscle ups and handstand walks. Expect anything.
Dates:
Registration opens: 5th December 2022
Registration closes: 23rd January 2023
All workouts released: 2nd January 2023
All workout submission deadline: 23rd January 2023
Prizes:
Top 3 males and females from each category will win a percentage of all the money from entries. The more entries, the greater the prize pot! There may also be some other prizes for the first place finisher from each category.
Other info:
Video submissions will be required for all workouts. All videos will be reviewed to ensure all the movement standards have been met. Full movement standards, workout flow and penalties will be outlined.
