RxFit Hillbilly HYROX - A Team (2) Fitness Race with Backwoods Grit
About This Competition
Get ready to buck up and race down at the first-ever RxFit Hillbilly HYROX - a downhome twist on the world's fastest growing fitness competition!
Whether you're a seasoned athlete or just figuring out what a sled push is, this team-of-two fitness race is built for everyone. No barbell? No problem. No experience? We'll teach ya. Just bring your grit, your partner, and maybe a flannel shirt for flair!
What is HYROX?
HYROX is a global fitness race that combines 8x1000m runs with 8 functional workout stations in between. This includes sled pushes, sandband lunges, rowing, and wall balls-- done for time in a high energy race format.
Our Hillbilly HYROX will follow the HYROX race format as an introduction to the race. We've backwoods-brewed this event into a fun, scalable, and community friendly challenge. Expect some hillbilly suprises, southern grit, and loads of support. Whether you are training for the real thing or just want to try something new with your gym buddy, you'll finish sweaty, proud, and grinnin' like a possum eatin' a sweet tater!
