Get ready to push your limits and show off your strength at the North Austin Strong 'Fall Brawl'! This Partner CrossFit Competition kicks off the first heat at 8 AM sharp and we plan on having the podium ceremony concluded by 1:00 PM at the latest.
We've got a lot of fun planned and a lot of work. Grab your partner and let's go!
Last day to be guaranteed a tee-shirt is Sunday, Oct 13th.
Event Details:
Date & Time: Saturday, October 26th, 8:00 AM - 1:00 PM
Location: North Austin Strong - 13800 Quitman Pass, Austin TX, 78728
Logistics email with times for Athlete Meeting and first heat kickoff time (as well as plenty of other info) will be sent out closer to the event date.
Competition Format:
Divisions: Male-Male and Female-Female teams of 2.
Skill Levels: RX, Intermediate, and Scaled divisions to accommodate all levels of experience
3 Events, plus 1 Floater WOD.
Competition Tee-Shirt for each partner is included in the entry fee. (Tee-shirt guaranteed until Sunday Oct 13th)
Prizes: Prizes will be awarded to the top 3 teams in each division.
• First Place Teams in RX division (Both Male and Female) will receive CASH prize based on entry fees.

• Additional cash prizes MAY be awarded based on entries and tournament director's discretion. Those prizes/amounts will be elaborated upon and announced at least 2 weeks prior to the competition.
• Other podium spots will receive gifts and swag from North Austin Strong, local businesses, and sponsors. (LMNT, TruFru, BuzzedBeesHoney, Cafe Java, other local restaurants)

Workouts
RX:
-50/40 Cal Echo Bike *Split However*
-100ft *Each* Sandbag Bearhug Carry @150/100lbs
INTERMEDIATE:
-40/30 Cal Echo Bike *Split However*
-100ft *Each* Sandbag Bearhug Carry @100/80lbs
SCALED:
-30/20 Cal Echo Bike *Split However*
-100ft *Each* Sandbag Bearhug Carry @80/60lbs
Workout Flow:
At 3,2,1...GO, the athletes will begin working through their prescribed Echo Bike calories. During this time, teams can split the calories however they choose to.
Once teams have reached their calorie target, Partner A will pickup their prescribed Sandbag in the bearhug position and complete the 100ft Sandbag Bearhug Carry.
Partner B will then pickup their prescribed Sandbag in the bearhug position and complete the 100ft Sandbag Bearhug Carry. Once both teams have completed their carry, the workout will be complete.
Scoring:
The score is the time it takes you to finish the total prescribed Echo Bike calories and Sandbag Bearhug Carry for each partner. If the team exceeds the time cap, they will receive a 5-second penalty for each 5 foot section (out of the 100ft) not completed.
Max just called. He said he knows your limits. And he wants to see you break through them.
