The event attracts athletes from far and wide to compete for the title of The Fittest Team. What started as an idea to bring the CrossFit community on the Sunshine Coast together through friendly competition, has fast become one of the most popular CrossFit events in Queensland attracting some of the best in the sport.
Over the last 8 years the event has grown significantly. We continue to do our best to be at the forefront of challenging our athletes, developing unique workouts and upholding our standard of professionalism and integrity to provide a fantastic experience.

If you are unable to attend the event, we will endevour to help find a replacement team/athlete however no refunds will be offered.
In the instance of a COVID 19 required postponement of the event due to a State lockdown, a full credit will be provided to the new date. Where teams are not able to compete at the new date, a refund will be provided.

Workouts

4x Synchro Shuttle Runs
Workout 1 will be 2 workouts running simultaneously. Pairing #1 will be working on one workout whilst pairing #2 will be working on the other workout at the same time.
Each workout is an AMRAP going for 6:30, with a 1:00 transition in between. After the 1:00 transition, pairings will swap workouts and continue on from exactly where the last pair left off.
Your score will be the total combined reps from both workouts.

*Non-working pair must hold a sandbag in the bearhug position at ALL times
Workout 2 is a 14 minute AMRAP. You will be working in Male/Female pairings for the buy-in and your team may complete the buy-in however they see fit. This means in ANY order, ANY rep scheme, with no minimum rep requirement.
Once the buy-in is complete, the team will then move into max calories on the Echo Bike in the remaining time of the 14 minute AMRAP.
2 sandbags MUST be held off the ground in the BEARHUG position for the entirety of the workout. Failure to do so will require your team to complete a penalty of 10 Synchro Sandbag to Shoulder. ANY 2 athletes may complete the 10 synchro reps, and the reps may be shared between everyone.

Workout 3 is a team running event.
All 4 athletes will run 800m together holding a rope. They will then drop off the rope and pick up 2 sandbags as a team and run 400m. You may share the carrying of the sandbags however you see fit. Once you return from your sandbag run, the team will then take off for another team run, once again holding the rope.
The team may not take off on their second team run until ALL 4 athletes have returned from the sandbag run and are ALL holding the rope.

Part A
3 Rounds for time:
7 Synchro Deadlifts
7 Synchro Hang Power Cleans
7 Synchro Front Squats
7 Synchro Shoulder to Overhead
Part B
In remaining time, establish 1RM Complex:
1 Clean + 1 Front Squat + 1 Shoulder to Overhead
Workout 4 will be completed in same sex pairs.
In the first 7 minute window, the first pair will begin Part A and complete the 3 rounds for time as fast as possible. They will then move directly into Part B, a 1RM complex in the remaining time of their 7 minutes.
There will be a 1:00 transition before the next pair will then complete the same workout in the next 7 minute window. Part A and Part B will be 2 separately scored events.
