About This Competition

What is BMC online?

An online weekend competition designed exclusively for Masters aged 35-60+ from anywhere in the World to replace our missed event this summer due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Our aim is to provide a competition to motivate masters across the world to train and provide a platform for testing of fitness.

BMC aims to recognise and help develop the future Masters talent in the sport of CrossFit in a safe, fun environment. Movement standards will always come first and the event organisers always encourage safe, correct movement under the pressure of a competition environment.

Open to 35-60+ year old Men and Women, with Rx'd, Scaled and 'home' option categories. Age category decided by AGE ON DAY of 12th Sept 2020 - the date of our original competition that was cancelled.

Dates

25th-28th September, an online qualifier style weekend for ANYONE, with separate division for scaled and RX's in each age group, any level of fitness and ability can join in. We will even have options for those of you with NO equipment in our 'At Home' category. With 4 workouts over the weekend to test different elements of fitness. 


Between 9th-12th October, there will be another weekend of workouts for the top 5 in each age group. This next stage of competition which will have all workouts needed to be filmed and judged then reviewed online before announcing any winners.

Pricing & Refund Policy

We want to run an AMAZING competition for you all next year when we go back to an on-site comp at Crossfit Southampton. Without a competition this year we will be down on funds in the pot for next years' equipment and hire costs. We also want to pay for some of the volunteer roles such as head judges for over-seeing all the video entry submissions and reviews, and then of course: PRIZES!!!!

Unfortunately, we cannot offer any refunds but all proceeds will go towards supporting future events for our masters & teens events.

What do I need?

Photo evidence of a valid form of ID.

A judge and video for each workout.

There is a list of movements and equipment on each gategory description*. You will need your usual training gear, and any accessories you may need for gymnastics & weightlifting.
