About This Competition
Element is proud to present XXXY - our first pairs members competition.
Same sex teams of two will compete on a great fun day on May 14th across multiple workouts and challenges all designed to both test your fitness and make you work as a team.
We're taking this members event thing to the next level - wods will be announced ahead of time, judging, real-time scoring, prizing, and an after-party everything but the kitchen sink...
More information will be sent to those who register, but know this - you don't want to miss this as it's the first of it's kind!
PLEASE NOTE: This is a Members Only Competition - all registrants must be current members of Element or approved by a coach.

Three Rep Max Synchronized Front Squat
Teams will have four attempts to establish the highest possible combined 3 Rep Max Front Squat - synchronized! Each attempt period will be 1 minute long, and athletes will have 4 minutes rest between attempts. Athletes will have to meet at the bottom and at the top of each rep for the rep to count. Athletes can preload their weights before their first attempt, and squat cleans WILL count as the first front squat. No rack is provided for this event, you must lift your own bar off the floor.
1 Mile Medicine Ball Team Carry
Both partners must run 1 mile and carry a medicine ball between the both of them. The medicine ball is not allowed to touch the ground at any point until the mile is complete. Both partners must run the mile and can pass the ball back and forth as many times as they need to.
Time Cap: 10 minutes
