2019 CFuNKY Throwdown - Average Joe's
About This Competition
We are proud to announce our 7th Annual CFuNKY Throwdown Saturday, September 21, 2019. In the tradition of the CFuNKY Throwdown, we will be bringing the girls back once again. The girl wods have proven time and time again they are girl wods for a reason. It is time to test your skills, your strength and your endurance and see if all your training has paid off.
This year's CFuNKY Throwdown will be a two person team competition geared toward the AVERAGE JOE and beginner CrossFitter. Teams will be one female and one male. There will be SCALED and RX’D divisions. Each team will be guaranteed three tough workouts and the TOP THREE teams of each division will get to THROWDOWN. Prizes will be given to the top team for RX divisions and scaled divisions. Vendors and food onsite.
**PLEASE NOTE: We would like to encourage participation for both beginning and RX level athletes but we also want to promote competition by asking that games/regional athletes not partner with other games/regional athletes. Therefore, if you are considered a games/regional athlete, you are encouraged to participate but please pick a nongames/nonregional athlete as your teammate. Please help promote our sport and challenge yourself by picking teams based on the above description. Thank you!
Cost Per Team (RX and Scaled):

T-Shirts $15.00 per shirt + tax
**Event t-shirts are discounted for athletes at time of registration only. If purchased on site t-shirts will be $20.00 per shirt.
STANDARDS:
RX division standards:
- All Benchmark Girl Wod Weights and Movements
** Top 3 Teams will Throwdown – Please note that during the throwdown weights may reflect heavier or more technical movements.
Scaled division standards:
- Pull Ups or Jumping Pull Ups
- Single Unders (DB Unders not allowed for Scaled)
- Handstand Taps/Holds
- Hand Release Push Ups
- 400m Run w/Weight
- Box Jumps/Step Ups (24/20″)
- Burpees
- Wallballs (9’/8’)(20lb/14lb)
- Kettlebell Swings (44/25)
- Snatch (95/65)
- Jerk (95/65)
- Push Press (75/55)
- Deadlift (185/135)
- Thruster (75/55)
- Overhead Squat (75/55)

Unbroken Clean & Jerks
**Athletes will choose weights from between:
RX: 115/85, 135/95, 145/105
Scaled: 75/55, 95/65, 105/75 Each weight carries a greater rep value.
RX Athletes
• 115/85 - Complete all sets (72 reps total) unbroken for an extra 10 rep points
• Total amount of points possible = 82
• 135/95 - Complete all sets (72 reps total) unbroken for an extra 20 rep points
• Total amount of points possible = 92
• 145/105 - Complete all sets (72 reps total) unbroken for an extra 30 rep points
• Total amount of points possible = 102
Scaled Athletes
• 75/55 - Complete all sets (72 reps total) unbroken for an extra 10 rep points
• Total amount of points possible = 82
• 95/65 - Complete all sets (72 reps total) unbroken for an extra 20 rep points
• Total amount of points possible = 92
• 105/75 - Complete all sets (72 reps total) unbroken for an extra 30 rep points
• Total amount of points possible = 102
** If either athlete drops the bar between sets there will be a 3 burpee penalty per drop at time of failed attempt for both athletes. However, if both athletes complete all three sets unbroken they will receive the bonus points listed above.
** Weight must be declared prior to start and both athletes must do same weight class. Meaning if the female partner declares 105 then the male partner must do 145.
** Declared weight can not be changed once it has been declared.
** Only the number of reps completed prior to time cap will be counted. The highest rep amount possible for this event is 102 rep points.
