About This Competition

The NBS Fitness Summer Throwdown gives functional fitness athletes a chance to challenge themselves and have a great time doing it with their friends and community.

The format for this competition will be 3 person, same gender teams so you can step onto the competition floor with your friends instead of having to do it solo.

We'll have a RX division and a Scaled Division

RX: For people with a few more years of training under their belt who have a more confidence and capacity in the more complex movements. RX Movements: Hang Power Cleans (135/95), burpees, toes to bar, double unders, deadlifts (225,185), pullups

Scaled: For those earlier in their fitness journey who want to compete but may not be able to do all the RX weights or volume. Scaled movements: KB swings (53/35), up downs, situps, single unders, deadlifts (135/95), ring rows

Workouts will be released on June 7th, the Monday before the event.

Checkins will be at 8:00am on Saturday, June 12th prior to the competition.

The competition will take place in the back building of NBS Fitness at 556 Trinity Creek Cove, Cordova, TN 38018.

Come prepared. Bring whatever food and beverages you need to stay fueled and hydrated during the day, and any supportive equipment you may need (ie belts, hand protection). Also, bring something to stay cool (like tents and chairs), the competition will be inside but open to the outdoors.

No refunds. We get it that stuff happens but we will not be able to issue any refunds once a registration is made. However, you can transfer a registration and substitute any athlete up to the day of the competition.

Spectators are allowed.
