About This Competition

When: November 5th and 6th 

Where: CrossFit Wild West 8502 Memphis Drive Lubbock, TX

What: The longest running Team competition in West Texas that benefits a local Veteran Organization. This year we will be partnering with Hospice Of Lubbock and their "We Honor Veterans" program that provide Veterans with multiple types of assistance from food, hygeine products, clothes and more. 

We are asking that ALL teams consider providing canned foods/boxed food as well if they can during check in to be donated to their food pantry before the holiday season! 

Format: Teams of SIX - 3 men and 3 women 

Divisions: RX and Scaled 

Division breakdown: 

This will not be every movement that will be done on competition day, but a minimum standard per division. 

RX division:

Weightlifting- All should be comfortable with 5+ consecutive reps 

Deadlift, 275/195

Clean, 205/135

Snatch, 165/115

Back Squat, 245/170


Gymnastics- At least 3/6 Should be comfortable with 3-10+ consecutive reps

Chest to Bar Pull-up

Bar / Ring Muscle Up

Rope Climb

Toe-to-Bar

Handstand Push Up

Handstand Walk (10+ Feet) 

 

Monostructural- All should be comfortable with repetitive efforts 

Run

Bike

Row


Scaled division:

Weightlifting- All should be comfortable with 5+ consecutive reps 

Deadlift, 225/155

Clean, 155/105

Snatch, 115//95

Back Squat, 215/145

 

Gymnastics- At least 3/6 should be comfortable with 3-10+ consecutive reps 

Jumping Pull-Up

Push Up

Rope Let-down

Knee Raise

 

Monostructural-

All should be comfortable with repetitive efforts

We will have an athlete village so bring your tents to set up outside on saturday Morning/afternoon. 

As in years past we WILL be having on offsite event at Mae Simmons EARLY on saturday Morning so be ready for that. 

If athletes need to be changed on your team you can contact us and we can make adjustments or tell us during checkin in which will be Friday November 5th from 4p-5p

At the call of 3…2..1 GO

Two athletes will start accumulating calories on both machines 

Athletes can switch whenever they want 

Score is Total Time   

Max repititions of RING MUSCLE UPS or RING PULL-UPS 

must complete all work prior to this in order to accumulate reps (See JRM Experience Time for info)

On a 15 minute running clock; 

Pair A: 42 Hang Split Snatch + 66 Pull-ups (Ring Rows) 

Pair B: 42 Hang Split Snatch + 42 Chest-to-bar (Jumping Pull-ups) 

Pair C: 42 Hang Split Snatch + 18 Bar Muscle-ups (Jumping C2B)

With any time remaining - Max Ring Muscle-ups (Ring Pull-ups) Two Scores Time to complete and REPS completed of RMU (RPU)

Hang Split Snatch weight: RX 95/65 - Scaled 75/55

Pairs will be: M/M-M/F-F/F

Teams may choose which pair of athletes completes each couplet 

May split work however between pairs can share reps for RMU/Ring Pull-ups between everyone

MMM- Run Loop 1/FFF- Synchro AMRAP 

24 Air Squat (hold plate at chest level, front of body RX AND SCALED) 

24 Push Up ( plate not required but must have hand release @ bottom) 

24yd Lunge (RX overhead/ Scaled chest level) 

FFF- Run Loop 1/ MMM- Synchro AMRAP

MMM Run Loop 2/FFF- Synchro AMRAP

FFF- Run Loop 2/MMM- Synchro AMRAP

MMM- Run Loop 3/FFF- Synchro AMRAP

FFF- Run Loop 3/MMM- Synchro AMRAP

* athletes pick up where teammates leave off, one athlete must uphold plate for squats/lunges- no need for plate on push ups. 

**may only switch once all three team members are back from the run. Athletes working on amrap may continue to work while waiting on three teammates

All team memebers will syncrhoinze movements while the others are running 

Movements are squats, push-ups, and lunges 

RX will do OH lunges with plate; Scaled can hold plate at chest 

Pair 1- 3 rounds

9 Synchro Squat Cleans (135/95) (95/65)

8 Synchro Burpee Box Jump (36/30) (30/24) 

(Step-ups allowed in Scaled)

Pair 2- 3 rounds 

7 Synchro Squat Cleans (165/115) (115/75) 

8 Synchro Burpee Box Jump (30/24) (24/20) 

Pair 3- 3 rounds

5 Synchro Squat Cleans (195/135) (135/95) 

8 Synchro Burpee Box Jump (24/20) (20/20)

Once Pair 3 finishes athletes use remaining 

time in the 25 minute window

to establish a 1RM Squat Clean 

With any time remianing in 25 minute window

all athletes find a 1RM Clean

Score is combined heaviest weights lifted by teammates
