About This Competition

On Saturday January 28th at 8 a.m. Havasu CrossFit will be hosting a team fitness competition. Teams from around the state will be battling for cash and prizes. These two person teams will prove their level of fitness during a series of workouts that will be judged and scored to determine the top teams of the event. There will be all male and all female teams with advanced (Rx), intermediate (Scaled) and Masters (40+ both athletes) divisions. Please join us for this family fun event and help support our local teams.

Workouts

5-minute time cap: Front Squats Reps Rx Male Rx Female Scaled/Masters Male Scaled/Masters Female 12 185 105 135 85 10 225 135 165 105 8 255 155 185 125 6 275 175 205 135 4 295 195 225 145 2 315 205 235 155 Teams can partition reps however they choose. The workout will begin with the first weight on the bar. Teams are responsible for changing their own weight after that. Score is time when all lifts are completed. If not completed score will be time cap plus unfinished reps. Tiebreaker will be the time at which the round of 8 was completed. (Every unfinished rep = 1 second)

6 minute EMOM (:45 seconds work -- :15 seconds rest/transition) Rx competitors: Air Assault Bike and Chest to Bar Pull Ups Scaled/Masters competitors: Air Assault Bike and Pull Ups Partner A will start on the AB and Partner B will start at Chest to Bar Pull Ups/Pull Ups. You will work for :45 seconds and rest/transition for :15 seconds. Each partner will do each movement 3 times. Score is total calories on AAB and Muscle/Pull Ups.

For time: 12-minute time cap Buy in: 800 meter run (Partner A Runs 400m/Partner B runs 400m) Then…. Rx Scaled/Masters 120 Double Unders 120 Single Unders 60 Power Cleans (155/105) 60 Power Cleans (115/75) 40 Toes to Bar 60 High Knees 60 Hand Stand Push Ups 60 Push Press (95/65) 120 Double Unders 120 Single Unders Score is time completed. If team hits the time cap their score will be time cap plus number of unfinished reps.

For time: 12-minute time cap 15-12-9 Calorie Row Thrusters (135/95/95/65) Burpees over Bar Partner A Rows 15 calories, Partner B Rows 15 Calories, Partner A completes 15 thrusters, Partner B completes 15 thrusters, and so on…. Score is time completed. If team hits the time cap their score will be time cap plus unfinished reps.
