About This Competition

Rooftop Games Teams of 3 Competition (MMM or FFF) 

Divisions: Scaled, Intermediate and Masters 40+

Workouts: 3 workouts and 3 side events. Side events, you must allocate 1 person per team per side event. 

Cost $180 per team. Limited spots available. No refunds or transfers available. Team changes can be made up to 7 days prior to competition.

Waivers: must be filled out prior to competition day. 

Parking: there will be plenty of street parking. Please be respectful of all other local businesses that may be opertating in the area and refrain from parking in their allocated parking spaces. 

Spectators: everyone welcome. Families and friends are welcome to come along and cheer from the sidelines. 

Athletes: we will have allocated areas where you and your team can set up your marquee and chairs. Bring your hat, sunnies and sunscreen for rooftop workouts. 

Food and drinks: coffee van will be on site and food available to purchase.

Workouts

16 Minute Workout 

Team runs 400 meters together holding a rope

Athlete 1 5RM Back rack lunges (5 reps each leg) Can step forwards or backwards

Team runs 400 meters together hoding a rope

Athlete 2 5RM Shoulder to Overhead

Team runs 400 meters together holding a rope

Athlete 3 5RM Front Squat

You have 16 minutes to complete the workout and can share time anyway you choose. Athletes will only complete 1 movement each. You must choose to complete either the 5RM Back rack lunges, Shoulder to Overhead or Front Squat. The choice is yours. Score is total of heaviest lift of all 3 athletes. 

Part 1 - 12 Minute AMRAP

Athlete 1 

Starts with 5 handstand Push Ups (Strict or Kipping) then holds in a Handstand position for as long as you can

Athlete 2

Waits until Athlete 1 is in a Handstand hold position and then starts Alternating Devil presses. Athlete 2 continues until Athlete 1 comes off the wall

Athlete 3 

Starts with 2 Rope Climbs 

Everyone rotates when Athlete 1 has completed their 5 Handstand Push ups and comes off the wall from a Handstand hold and Athlete 3 has completed 2 Rope climbs. 

Athlete 1 moves to alternating Devil presses. Athlete 2 moves to Rope climbs. Athlete 3 moves to 5 Handstand Push ups and then holds in a Handstand position.

Score for Part 1 is total reps of Devl presses. Dumbbell weight 22.5kg/15kg 

1 minute Rest

Part 2 - 2 minute AMRAP

10 Shoulder touches in a Handstand position on the wall. You must come off the wall after every 10 reps. Rotate anyway you like. 10 Shoulder touches to score 1 point. Athlete can come off the wall and go back up to complete 10 Shoulder touches. 

Part 1 - 12 Minute AMRAP

Athlete 1

Starts with 5 Modified Wall Walks then holds a Modified Wall Walk position for as long as you can

Athlete 2 

Waits until Athlete 1 is in a Modifed Wall Walk hold position and then starts Alternating Devil presses. Athlete 2 continues until Athlete 1 comes off the wall

Athlete 3 

Starts with 2 Rope climbs or 6 Zombie climbs 

Everyone rotates when Athlete 1 has completed their 5 Modified Wall Walks and comes off the wall from their hold and Athlete 3 completes 2 Rope climbs or 6 Zombie climbs. 

Athlete 1 moves to alternating Devil presses

Athlete 2 moves to 2 Rope climbs or 6 Zombie climbs

Athlete 3 moves to 5 Modified Wall Walks and then holds a Modified Wall Walk position

Score for Part 1 is total reps of Devil presses. Dumbbell weight 15kg/10kg

1 minute Rest

Part 2 - 2 minute AMRAP

10 Shoulder touches in a Modified Wall Walk position on the wall. You must come off the wall after every 10 reps. Rotate anyway you like. 10 Should touches = 1 point. Must complete 10 Shoulder touches to score 1 point. Athlete can come off the wall and go back up to complete 10 Shoulder touches.

Tyre flips

Max Effort

1 tyre flip = 3 points

If you're unable to flip the tyre on your own, you can choose a 2nd team member to work with you. If you work in pairs, 1 tyre flip = 1 point.

You must choose to go on your own or in pairs from the start, you cannot switch in and out.
