About This Competition
CFCP Presents: The Monster Mash!
Substitutes: You will be elegible to sub any athlete out (even on the day if you need to) in the case of illness / injury! We would still prefer for you to find a sub so you are able to throwdown. If a substitute is unable to be found, your entry is non-refundable.
Workout Release Dates: Workouts will be released prior to the event date and at a range of different times. Movement standards will be released to all athletes prior to live registration.
Event Purpose: 4 simple workouts with some grassroots Crossfit style events. A day where everyone can throwdown and have fun with their buddies!

Workouts
30 - 20 - 10
Toes to Bar (Synchro)
Deadlifts (140 / 95kg)
Box Jump Overs (30" / 24")
As stated, the Toes to Bar are to be syncho.
The deadlifts and box jump overs are to be split, however, there is no minimum workout requirement.
Each athlete must establish a 3RM Front Squat (from the floor)
A squat clean as the first rep is permitted. Athletes must start the workout with an empty bar. Each athlete can have as many or as little attempts as they like within timeframe.

Thrusters (45 / 30kg Barbell and 22.5 / 15kg DB)
Bar Muscle Ups
The thrusters will be both with a barbell and with DBs. The thrusters will be synchro - one partner using a barbell and one partner using the DBs. Partners are able to swop between the barbell and the DBs as they like.
The thruster must be synchro in the bottom and the top of the rep.
There is no minimum work requirment on the BMU. One team member can do all BMUs if they wish.

Directly into:
3 Rounds
50 Alt DB Snatches (22.5 / 15kg)
15 Synchro Burpee to Touch
The row must be broken up into 500m increments.
While one partner is snatching - the other partner must be holding an empty barbell locked out above their head.
There is no minimum work requirement for the DB Snatches - partners can change between snatching and holding the barbell overhead as they like.
Note - the DB cannot be moved until the barbell is locked out overhead.
The burpee synchro - both partners chests must be touching the floor and taping the pull up bar at the same time.
