(4 Minute Time Cap)
This workout will be done in Same Sex Pairs. That means, each set of MM and FF athletes will have 4 minutes to complete the following:
Partner 1 will run from the starting line to the first bar and back to the starting line where they will physically TAG their partner. That is when Partner 2 will begin their run to the first bar and back to the starting line. Upon tagging, Partner 1 will run to the second bar and back to the starting line. Each time a Partner tags another partner in, they will run to their next bar until both Partners have completed the 5 bars and crossed the finish line or time has run out. Bars will be approximately 10 yards apart.
If your team completes the sprint before the time cap, your score is your time and you have extra time to rest. If your team does not complete the sprint before the time cap, your score will be CAP + the number of yards you did not complete.
After the time cap, Partners will have 1 minute to return to the starting line and get ready for Event 1B.
(2 Minute Time Cap)
Athletes will have 2 minutes to complete the following:
Run from the starting line to each bar in a suicide sprint fashion. That means athletes must return to the starting line and touch it with both hands each time before running to the next bar. Bars will be approximately 10 yards apart.
If you complete the sprint before the time cap, your score is your time and you have extra time to rest. If you do not complete the sprint before the time cap, your score will be CAP + the number of yards you did not complete.
After the time cap, athletes will have 1 minute to return to the starting line and get ready for Event 1B.
