About This Competition
Warrior Affiliate League in association with SIGNS RX presents:
Deuces Wild is a 2-person (MM/FF/MF) functional fitness team competition for athletes of all skill levels across 6 divisions.
This event makes for a great first competition for those new to CF and Functional Fitness. Our FRIENDLY division is to invite families to participate as a team. Weight load and movement modifications will be made for all to participate and have a good time. For the veteran CFers, our events will test your skills in a FUN and challenging way! Grab a frined and build your Super Dynamic Duo Team.
Registration Fee Schedule:
FEB 2-FEB 20: $165/team + processing fee
FEB 21-FEB 29: $175/team + processing fee
MAR 1-MAR 16: $185/team + processing fee
MAR 17-MAR 28: $200/team + processing fee
Entry fee covers: Team entry fee for 2 persons, 3 workouts, with 7 separate scored events, exclusive event shirt*, team name plate*, access to our vendor village, and an opportunity to compete in front of friends, family, and the largest crowd in southern California with ultimate prize packs to the podium winners. *Must be order before deadline to receive.
6 DIVISIONS:
- MEN (MALE/MALE): INTERMEDIATE, BEGINNERS
- WOMEN (FEMALE/FEMALE): INTERMEDIATE, BEGINNERS
- MIXED PAIRS (MALE/FEMALE) - INTERMEDIATE, BEGINNERS
Intermediate Division is the division for those who want heavier weightloads with advanced gymnastics movements. At least one athlete must be able to perform the following gymnastics movements but not limited to: Bar Muscle up, Chest 2 bar pull ups, Handstand push ups, Handstand walks, rope climbs, double-unders. Athletes must be able to lift the following Snatch M 135/F 85, Thruster M 115/F 65 lbs., C+J M 155/F 105 lbs., Deadlift M 225/ F 155 lbs. GYmnastics - Pull ups, Toes 2 bar, Wall Walks.
Beginner Division is for those just starting out in CF. This division has lighter weightloads, and modified gymnastics movements. Athletes must be able to lift the following Snatch M 115/65, Thrusters M 95/F 65, C+J 135/65, Deadlift 185/135. Gymnastics - jumping pull ups, hanging knee raises, modified wall walks.
TO REGISTER:
One person registers and pays for the team (team captain). Have team members' names, emails, shirt sizes, birthdates, etc. available when registering. Register your team prior to MAR 24 to guarentee event shirt/tank and team name plate.
Don't know which division to sign up for? No problem. Changes can be made until 15 Days prior to event. Athlete substitutions can be made by emailing us 1) Team Name/Gym Affiliate 2) Team Division 3) Name of Athelte to remove 4) Name of replacement athlete 5) email of replacement athlete. Questions? Workout 1*** – “THIRD POWER” (Time cap: 6 minutes)
With a 6 minute running clock, Complete 1 round for time:

33 Thrusters
33 Shoulder to Overhead
Then, with remaining time perform
Max Toes 2 Bar (BEG: Hanging Knee Raises)
Barbell – Men INT 115, BEG 95 lbs / Female INT 75, BEG 55 lbs
- 2 minute transition –
Workout 2*** – “SIMPLY DONE” (Time cap: 6 minutes)
Each athlete will establish a heavy barbell complex of:
2 Cleans + 1 Hang Clean
***With a 14 minute running clock, at 3-2-1..go! teams will perform WOD 1. On the 6:00 mark teams will Rest 2 minute. Then, on the 8:00 mark, team will perform WOD 2.
Workout 3 – “THE OTHER TRIFECTA” (Time cap: 10 mins)
· PART A - CALORIE Ski Erg (AMRAP 3 minutes)

· PART B - Max KB Farmer Carry (AMRAP 3 minutes)
· - 0:30 transition -
· PART C – Max DB Snatch (AMRAP 3 minutes)
Team Start Position - A Lottery system will determine where your team will begin the trifecta.
Workout 4 – “CHUTES & LADDERS” - SANDBAG CLEAN LADDER
Every minute on the minute, each athlete will attempt to Clean pre-loaded ascending sandbag ladder. All divisions - 50, 60, 70, 80, 90, 100, 125, 150, 175, 200 lbs.

REFUND POLICY: THERE ARE NO REFUNDS OR TRANSFERS TO FUTURE EVENTS. NO EXCEPTIONS. There will be no shirt size/type changes after final order date. Athlete substitution up until the day of event by having your substitute athlete sign your team waiver on event day.

Workout 1*** – “THIRD POWER” (Time cap: 6 minutes)
E1 - With a 6 minute running clock, Complete 1 round for time:

E2 - Then, with remaining time, perform as many repetitions as possible of
Toes 2 Bar (BEG: Hanging Knee Raises)

Then immediately perform: Workout 2*** – “SIMPLY DONE” (Time cap: 6 minutes)
Workout 1 has two seaparate scores: E1 - time to complete triplet chipper, and E2 - Max toes 2 Bar.
WOD Description: E1 - On 3-2-1..Go! A1 will enter grid and perform power cleans, while A2 waits at start area. Athletes may switch at any time. Only one athlete may work at one time. Once 33 power cleans are completed, team will then perform 33 thrusters. Once 33 thrusters are completed, team will then perform 33 S2OH. Once team completes 33 S2OH, time will be taken. Score is the fastest time to complete triple chipper.
E2 – Then with remaining time, team will immediate perform as many reps as possible of T2B. Score is total of T2B performed by team.
After the completion of the initial 6 minutes, teams will have a 2 minute transition to pre-load barbell for Workout 2.

WOD Description: E3
Workout 2 – At the 8:00 mark (after 2 minute transition), teams will attempt to lift a heavy barbell complex of 2 Cleans + 1 Hang Clean. Athlete must perform barbell complex as a tap and go. If the athlete loses grip of barbell at any point during the complex, the repetition will not count. A power or squat clean/hang clean will be accepted. Team mates may help each other load/unload barbell. Athletes may make as many attempts as possible within time cap. Score is the sum of heaviest successful lift from A1+A2. Time cap: 6 minutes.

Workout 4 – “CHUTES & LADDERS” - SANDBAG CLEAN LADDER
Every minute on the minute, each athlete will perform 1 SB Clean (ascending sandbag ladder)
All divisions - 50, 60, 70, 80, 90, 100, 125, 150, 175, 200 lbs.
WOD Decsription (E7) EMOM each athlete will perform 1 SB Clean. Successful lift is the buy-in to proceed to next pre-loaded station. Sandbags will ascend in weight per station. This will continue until both athletes have reached a max sandbag clean.
Tie Breaker: Once athlete fails to lift a given SB or reaches the final SB, that athlete may perform max burpees with remaining time. 1 lbs per burpee performed will be added to teams final score. Score is sum of A1+A2 heaviest successful clean + any addition burpee repetitions performed. Time cap: 1 minute per station.
