About This Competition
varna throwdown 2020
Varna Throwdown is a two-day event taking place in the beautiful city of Varna, Bulgaria on the 6th and 7th of June 2020 on an open air arena.
The competition is organized by CrossFit Varna for 5th consecutive year with the goal of bringing together individual athletes from around the world to compete in the spirit of fitness. It is inspired of our love for CrossFit and the commitment to offer the best experience for its athletes.

registrations
Registration window opens on 05/01/2020 and closes on 08/03/2020.
divisions
RX Men (top 40 will advance to the finals)
RX Women (top 20 will advance to the finals)
Scaled Men (top 60 will advance to the finals)
Scaled Women (top 40 will advance to the finals)
Masters Men 35-39 (top 20 will advance to the finals)
Masters Women 35-39 (top 10 will advance to the finals)
Masters Men 40-44 (top 10 will advance to the finals)
Masters Women 40-44 (top 5 will advance to the finals)
Masters Men 45+ (top 10 will advance to the finals)
Masters Women 45+ (top 5 will advance to the finals)
Teen Boys up to 20 (top 10 will advance to the finals)
Teen Girls up to 20 (top 10 will advance to the finals)
qualifiers
Three qualifier workouts, in three consecutive weeks will determine the best athletes in each category.
Qualifier 20.1 will be announced on 09/03/2020. Submission deadline is 15/03/2020.
Qualifier 20.2 will be announced on 16/03/2020. Submission deadline is 22/03/2020.
Qualifier 20.3 will be announced on 23/03/2020. Submission deadline is 29/03/2020.
finals
The finals will take place at Primorski Park Varna, Bulgaria on the 6th and 7th of June 2020. A total of 240 athletes in various categories will earn their spot in the finals through the online qualifiers for a minimum of total prizes of 11 000€ .
