About This Competition
The Guardian Games (501(c)3) exists to promote fitness and competition while giving back to other non-profit 501(c)3’s. The Guardian Games will hold functional fitness competitions at gyms across the region and state. The hosting gym will pick the nonprofit that they would like to support. Once the nonprofit is chosen The Guardian Games will then start promotion for the event. The Guardian Games will set up online registration, program the workouts for the competition, and organize the event from the start to finish. After the event, all net proceeds will be donated back to the chosen non-profit of the hosting gym such as Wounded Warriors, Feeding America, Alzheimer’s Association, Susan G Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, Make a Wish, American Heart Association, etc…
What specific activities we will conduct?
Our primary activity will be fundraising monies for local and regional charities. We will hold fundraisers at gyms, recreational facilities, outdoor pavilions, and parks. Our fundraisers will consist of recreational and functional fitness outlets that will allow the participating community to not only give to the charities chosen but to compete.
Who participates in the activities?
All are invited to participate whether it is to donate monies, to volunteer to help, or to participate in the run, competition or sporting event that The Guardian Games is holding. Even those that are just looking to learn more about the charity are invited to come and support the cause.
