About This Competition
The premiere event of the Kootenay Cup Competion Series.
Each participateing affiliate will recieve invitations for 15 teams to attend. Those invitations can be used as desired in the 4 categories: RX, Scaled, Teens and Kids. Once registered, fees are non refundable but substitutions can be made as needed.
There will be a swag bag and t-shirt for each participant, as well as prizes for podium finishers and door prizes throughout the day.

Workouts
The female athlete will build to a 1RM DEADLIFT while the male athlete will build to a 1RM CLEAN. Both athletes will share the same 45# bar.
Female- 0-2:00
10 Devils Press AMRAP assault bike cals in remaining time
Male- 2:00-4:00

Scaled/Teens 35/20
10 over the medball hops (5 each)
50' wheelbarrow
10 over the medball hops (5 each)
100' medball sprints (50' each)
10 over the medball hops (5 each)
200' sprint (100' each)
Partner 1 will push the sled while partner 2 assists with pulling. On the return trip the roles will be reversed with partner 1 pulling the sled while partner 2 pushes. Rope climbs can be split however the team chooses. While the sled distance decreases, the sled weight increases. It is the athletes responsibility to add weight to the sled each round.
