About This Competition
Metcon Productions is Maryland's premier Team Fitness Competition. Offering Super Scaled, Scaled, RX and Masters (40+) divisions. We strive to provide a fun and competitive competition for participants along the East Coast. Athletes will be challenged with skills that test their teamwork, strategy, strength and overall fitness level. We are looking to connect and inspire athletes to have fun and exceed their personal expectations.

Wod #1 briefing at 8:00 AM
First Heat starts at 8:30 AM
Competition is for Teams of Two:
Registration opens Feb 1, 2019
Feb 1- March 1- Team $100
March 2- April 2-Team $115.00
April 3- May 11th Team $135.00
Spectators- Pay at the door. Kids 12 and under Free. All others $10.00

Swag
All athletes will receive a competition shirt/tank, and samples from our sponsors. Registration has to be completed by May 1st in order to secure a shirt/tank.
There will be Vendors, Restrooms, and parking on Site.
•Food will be available for Purchase.
•Prizes for all Categories for placements of 1st, 2nd and 3rd.
•All Participants will receive a competition T-Shirt/ Tank
•Room to set up tents out back
•We have a playroom for Kids if you have to bring them with you.
•Competition will wrap up no later than 5 PM on Saturday Evening

Workouts
9 min amrap
400m ski erg (damper on 10)
600m bike erg (damper on 10)
With the remaining time as many bar muscle ups as possible
Final Score is total number of Bar Muscle Ups
At 3,2,1 go athlete 1 will start on erg. Once done athlete 1 moves to bike. Athlete 2 can not start ski erg until athlete 1 is on the bike erg. After athlete 2 completes bike erg both athletes will move to the bar for bar muscle ups.
RX
Part 1: Clean + Front Squat + Jerk
Athletes will take 8 minutes to build to a 1 rep max complex.
(no hang cleans or power cleans allowed and you can power jerk or split jerk. Lift must be completed by 8 min. Score is total weight)
Part 2 : 2 min Synchro Lateral Burpees Over the Bar
From min. 8-10 athletes will perform as many synchro lateral burpees over the bar as possible.
(must be a two footed jump over the bar, you must jump both feet back at the same time and a step up will be permitted on the burpee. Synchro part is when athletes chest is on the floor)
*if teams tie in part 1 the amount of reps completed in part 2 will be the tie break
Masters
Same as RX
Scaled
Athletes will take 10 minutes to build to a 1 rep max complex.
(no hang cleans or power cleans allowed and you can power jerk or split jerk. Lift must be completed by 10 min. Score is total weight)
Super Scaled
Athletes will take 10 minutes to build to a 1 rep max complex.
( power cleans, push press, power jerk or split jerk permitted. Lift must be completed by 10 min. Score is total weight)
WOD 2
RX
athletes will perform synchronized toes to bar (sync. part is both athletes feet touching the bar at the same time). Once toes to bar are completed one athlete will advance to the barbell and complete one round of "DT" (12 Deadlifts, 9 Hang Power Cleans, 6 Push Jerks) and then run to partner 2 and tag them in to complete "DT". In each round both athletes will complete 2 rounds of "DT" before returning to the bar for the next set of toes to bar. There will be a 11minute TIME CAP.
Score is total time (if you dont complete the workout 1 second will be added for every rep not completed)
